Indiana’s Mr. Basketball winner got one more opportunity to play on his home floor at Greenfield-Central High School. Mullins, a UConn signee, finished with 17 points and 4 assists but couldn’t pull out the win against the Indiana Junior All-Stars. It wasn’t his best shooting performance at Dellen Gymnasium, but there were still plenty of highlights for the hometown hero. What a special career he had and was more than deserving of wearing the coveted #1 jersey.

Mullins averaged an incredible 32.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 3.7 steals per game while posting shooting splits of 65.0%/47.6%/87.9%. Greenfield-Central finished 87-15 in his four year career. Mullins, a McDonald’s All-American will continue his career at UConn.

Braylon Mullins Braylon Mullins 6'5" | SG Greenfield-Central | 2025 State #123 Nation IN is a stud. I was impressed by his shooting range—he pulled up from the logo on multiple occasions and drained his shots. But he’s not just a deep threat; he is great from mid-range and inside. Using a smooth floater and a solid pull-up jumper

Mullins has great ball-handling skills and opens his own shot opportunities. He also displays impeccable court vision, consistently finding open teammates. Mullins showed grit and heart taking a rough fall trying to save the ball from going out of bounds. Seeming a little banged up he shook himself off and got back to play.

Defensively, he was a pest on the perimeter. His quick hands and flawless timing made it very difficult to get past him, he was always applying pressure and disrupted passing lanes. When he was subbed out, he received a standing ovation from the Greenfield-Central fans.

While he got pressured a ton, Mullins still found a way to get nearly 40 points. Put his team on his back and did pretty much everything he could vs a very talented Lawrence North team. His ability to create shots is what makes him so special as a player.

It won’t be very often you see a watch list not feature the favorite to win Indiana Mr. Basketball and that won’t be the case here as Braylon Mullins Braylon Mullins 6'5" | SG Greenfield-Central | 2025 State #123 Nation IN is for sure a player to watch this weekend. The UConn signee has already showcased just what an incredible player he is this year with his 41-point performance last week at Sneakers 4 Santa vs Ben Davis. This weekend, Mullins will be on the big stage again at Southport with another chance to shine against a very good Lawrence North team. Everyone needs to watch him before he heads to UConn.
