It’s good to see Tommy back after missing most of the spring, and he had a nice stretch in the second half to help lead Fury to a big win over Minneapolis Central. He’s one of the most physically imposing forwards in the state with his big frame at 6’6-6’7, but he’s surprisingly light on his feet. Had a few times where he got downhill to the rim, and was quickly able to change directions to avoid a charge call. Tommy really impressed me on Sunday with just how much stronger and more athletic he looked. The 6’6” junior was attacking the basket with aggression, using his strong frame to finish through multiple defenders at a time. He was a beast rebounding the ball, coming away with contested boards all day. Schabert is also a high effort defender, being capable of guarding a variety of positions.
