was that really smart piece that moved the ball perfectly and with the right timing that really helped Fury Goring be a success. I also think his defensive positioning may not have been catchy in terms of creating a lot of big moments, but his positioning was always in a spot that made things just a little tougher on the opposing guard. Guys couldn’t blow by Ben, they weren’t allowed an easy possession. Ben was very steady for his team.

– Goring is a six-foot 2027 Farmington guard that works well in ball screen actions as the pick and roll ball handler and getting downhill. Goring exhibits the ability to shoot from beyond the arc a bit and is a guard that will get out in transition.

-Goring. He helped lead his team to the 17u title by consistently putting his teammates in positions to succeed. He has the vision and accuracy to thread the needle to a cutting teammate, but also makes the simple passes out on the perimeter to his open shooters. If one of his bigs has good position on the block, you can bet Ben will find them with an accurate pass. Always seems to know where the ball has to go next.

He hoops with Minnesota Fury . Goring is a smooth and true PG. He puts his teammates in spots to be successful. Ben is a cerebral ball player. He consistently makes the correct decision with the rock. Goring is also a magnificent shooter from beyond the arc.

Ben was racking up assists last night in a big win for his Minnesota Fury squad. The sophomore out of Farmington showcased a quick burst to get into the lane or come off screens tight, and from there kept his eyes scanning the floor looking for an open man. He showed the ability to fit passes through tight gaps, and was putting them right in his teammates’ hands allowing them to go right up with a shot. Ben showcased good change of speed, and seemed to know what he was going to do as soon as the ball came to him.

Ben was a prospect I was not very familiar with coming into the showcase, but left me very impressed. He was usually one of the smaller players on the floor, but did not let that stop him from making a difference. He was making the defense pay for giving him any kind of room when he had the ball, pulling up from deep. Goring just looked like he has a great overall feel for the game.
