A crucial part of the Tigers’ run to the State Championship game, Jordan is a ridiculous athlete who plays above the rim and is an excellent shot blocker too. Jackson needs to continue develop his all around skill set to reach his ceiling but he has the physical tools to be an impact player in college. If he bulks up his wiry frame and improves his ball handling and shooting, Jackson could be a top 100 talent.

“The dunk heard around the world” could serve as the tagline for several of Jordan’s slams at Spooky Nook this past weekend. His All Ohio Red 16U EYBL squad competed against some of the top talent in the building and arguably drew the tournament’s largest crowds. All of which made Jordan’s rim rocking that much more impactful. In his first matchup of the event, Jordan cleaned up a teammate’s missed layup attempt with a putback dunk with a defender under the rim. In his final game on Sunday, Jordan rolled to the basket for another poster, but this time over two defenders!

Another explosive athlete, Jackson had a ton of dunks this weekend as a monster threat around the rim. Able to throw down alley-oops, putback dunks or from the dunker spot, Jackson has as quick of an explosion as anybody. Despite getting a couple goaltends in the game I watched, Jackson’s rim protection makes an impact in deterring guards from driving to the rim against him and his energy has been consistent for both Louisville St Xavier as well as All Ohio Red this year. Jackson also has started to improve as a passer out of the post, defeating double-teams by finding shooters on the perimeter. Expect Jackson to be on your Instagram page most weekends for his dunks but the continued rounding out of his game will be what college coaches are looking for this summer.

Jordan put the state on notice this season about just how good he can be. Although only a sophomore, he oozes D1 potential and has already caught the attention of several college programs. He plays with a contagious level of energy that seemed easy for his teammates to reciprocate. Already operating at an elite level above the rim and as a rim protector, Jordan flashed an ability to knock down shots from 15ft and beyond. Once he puts it altogether, he’ll be one of the best prospects to come out of Kentucky’s loaded 2028 class.

Jordan is a bit of an outlier on this list given that he walked away with the Prime Hydration Player of the Game honor, but the manner in which he played deserves to be a topic of conversation. Known for his toughness and athleticism as a rim protector and an above-the-rim threat on offense, he brought all of that plus some in the title game. Most notably, he connected on 2/3 3PT attempts to finish with 17 PTS and a game-high 9 REB. Already one of the top prospects in KY, becoming a reliable outside threat could be the catalyst that pushes him into more national conversations.

I was really encouraged by the offensive flashes Jackson showed as he rolled and cut to the rim with a purpose and finished with dunks and layups in the paint. Jackson’s athleticism allows him to be an elite rim protector as well and Jackson had a handful of blocks and a couple goaltends where he made sure his presence was felt. One of the top prospects in the 2028 class, Jackson will draw a bunch of college coaches to his All Ohio Red 16 U EYBL squad.

Jordan is an explosive athlete who plays really hard. He has to continue developing his skill level but Jackson has come a long way over the last 2 years and is still trending up. While he’s a really efficient scorer, Jackson is maximizing his opportunities for the Tigers and, in my opinion, is the true X factor in the 7th region title chase.

One of the most athletic players in the 2028 class in the country, Jackson makes some jaw dropping plays on both ends of the court. Able to block shots that seem out of reach for anybody else, Jackson flies around the court and is looking to make plays. As a roll man Jackson has the athleticism to sky for alley-oops and also knocked down a 3-pointer in each game this weekend. Once the game slows down for Jackson with the ball in his hands, you’ll start to see him be able to make more plays in the half-court. He’s still rushing things which makes sense due to how young he is for a 2028 prospect, sky is the limit on his upside.

Jordan continues to be one of my favorite players in this class but for him to continue to see high major schools offering him, Jackson will have to transition over to being a big 3 or a 4 man. His skill level keeps growing but Jordan needs to get the hitch out of his jumper to reach his ceiling, in my opinion. One thing I have learned is that Jackson is a very hard worker and is likely to be one of the best players in Kentucky for the next 3 years.

Jordan is perhaps the best athlete in Kentucky. He’s long and athletic with the ability to finish well above the rim. Jackson is transitioning to be more of a wing than a big and is a little prone to trying to force his ball handling. Even when Jackson turns it over, he sprints back and attempts to remedy his mistakes, as quickly as possible. Assuming he gets eligible at Saint X, Jordan is probably the most impactful transfer in the state this season.
