could very well be the best JV guard in the entire state. Rogers came off the bench and was an instant spark for the JV Giants with his quickness and athleticism on both ends of the floor. Capable of defending multiple positions with his speed and length, he cause problems with his pressure along with his teammate, Smith. Offensively he’s an aggressive downhill driver that plays with a good base and is explosive around the rim. Was really good off the ball as a cutter.

There is never a shortage of talent coming through the program at Ben Davis High School. Rogers will be fighting for some varsity minutes in the backcourt rotation this season, but should be ready to step into a larger role down the road. He is an excellent playmaker with some downhill explosiveness and good passing ability from a live dribble as he attacks the basket. What he can do off of ballscreens is impressive.

Shifty guard that played with a high motor and was aggressive on both ends of the floor. Got to the basket seemingly at will finishing with an array of moves around the basket. Got going in the last scrimmage showcasing a smooth release and knocked down multiple shots from behind the arc.

Per usual, there is no shortage of young, up-and-coming talent at Ben Davis High School. Rogers has proven himself already on the Nike EYBL Circuit with Indy Heat where he continues to make plays against some of the best Class of 2028 competition in the country. The 6’0″ shifty playmaker has excellent court vision and passing ability. It will be interesting to see him continue to compete for minutes among a plethora of other backcourt pieces for the Giants.

Per usual, Ben Davis High School has an embarrassment of riches in the freshman class. There are several young, talented guards in the Giants’ Class of 2028 with several of them attending our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. Rogers was certainly one that stood out among the group with his ability to process the game quickly, high basketball IQ, and overall court vision. He is a good passer and makes sound decisions from a live dribble. There is a lot to like about Rogers’ game as he continues to develop over the coming years.
