Expert Analysis

Jackson has been the best player on the best team this season in what some consider the best region. The Mr. Basketball candidacy is just as strong as any for the 7th Region POY as awarded by the KABC and the Courier Journal, respectively. He doubled down on an outstanding season by leading St.X through a 7th Region tournament run in which they won every matchup by double digits. His one-handed slam off a baseline drive as the clock ran down in the title game put the exclamation point on the chapter. Jackson paced the Tigers and recorded team-highs in PPG (12) and RPG (7). Expect his experience, IQ, and skillset to come up big for the Tigers this week.

Jeremiah has long been one of the best players that people don’t talk about much. A big body who can make shots or get into the paint, Jackson has the potential to be a big time 3 and D player in college. Jeremiah is committed to Southern Illinois. Before then, he’ll attempt to lead St. Xavier to a state title next week.

Louisville St Xavier hung around for a while on Saturday before Spire’s length and athleticism became too much for the Tigers to handle. Jackson was a key reason why the game was so competitive as he was confident making shots on the perimeter and also making numerous impressive skip passes across the court. Jackson can handle the ball and make decisions in the half court as either a pick and roll ball handler or a closeout attacker. Jackson also had a couple lefty finishes at the rim that showed his ability to attack with either hand. Looking like one of the top seniors in Kentucky, Jackson is helping lead a Louisville St Xavier squad that is the early number one team in the state.

Jackson is one of the more underappreciated players in Kentucky because he plays on a loaded roster. A big wing, Jeremiah is capable of knocking down shots from deep and is a strong driver who can rebound as well. He’s committed to Southern Illinois.

A prospect who has been in the spotlight for a while in the Louisville area, Jackson seems to have found his stride as he prepares for his senior season with one of the top programs in Kentucky. An impressive passer from the wing position, Jackson is a weapon against full court pressure and in the half-court with his ability to zip the ball from one end to the other. Jackson was also knocking down shots from the perimeter, spacing the floor as a pick and pop option or as a spot-up shooter. What makes Jackson really tough to defend is his ability to play in the post on smaller defenders, using his physicality to gain position and either shoot over defenders or make a quick kickout pass to a teammate. Very skilled player who was recently offered by Southern Illinois, Jackson will be sure to help draw a crowd at Louisville St Xavier games this weekend in Lexington.

One of the most physically impressive prospects that you’ll find in the Class of 2026, Jackson is an absolute beast on the floor. On Sunday it translated to a good deal of production for the Kentucky Junior All-Stars. The 6’5″ wing scored 22 points and pulled down 6 rebounds in the game. It is easy to see why the Saint Xavier product remains one of the most sought after prospects in the state of Kentucky.

Jeremiah is a bully guard who can get downhill and finish through contact or spot up and knock down an open three from the wing. Jackson holds several D1 offers and has the potential to earn many more while playing with Team Loaded on the 3SSB circuit.
