One of the top scorers in Cincinnati, Griffin is now in the ECC after putting up monster scoring numbers in the CMAC for the last two seasons. Griffin has excellent touch on his shots and is a natural bucket getter. Griffin hit perimeter shots, had a sweet lefty scoop layup on the right side of the rim and scored off a couple cuts to the rim. Playing alongside former CMAC rival [player_tooltip player_id='2463253' first='Jaionte' last='Jones'], the duo have provided a spark to a West Clermont team that already had some strong returners in their core. With this new look team, I'd expect West Clermont to vault up near the top of the ECC standings.

I was impressed with Long's activity at the rim on Sunday, throwing down a couple dunks and blocking a handful of shots away from the rim. Long has good length and timing as a rim protector, contesting shots without fouling. Looking like one of the most improved players in the greater Cincinnati area, Long is a prime candidate to be a breakout senior with West Clermont this winter.

Reynoldsburg has a very new look squad and with a lot of young players, opportunity is there for players to establish themselves on the team. Lewis is starting to do that as the rising junior wing is shooting the ball at a high level this summer. Lewis has a solid frame that should improve as he continues to work in the weight room. Lewis will benefit from playing in all this June action as he continues to develop as a player and learn to impact the game without just making shots on the perimeter. Name to watch in central Ohio!

I've seen Tucker play well over a dozen times in his career and without a doubt the best game he's ever played in front of me was on Sunday against Louisville St Xavier. Tucker looked extremely confident on the ball, changing speeds off the dribble and getting where he wanted. Knocking down a couple of perimeter shots got Tucker going and he started playing with a different sense of aggressiveness and authority on both ends of the court. Tucker almost caught a body with a drive down the lane that ended with his dunk attempt just missing, showing how aggressive he was with the ball in his hands. Hoping that the switch has been flipped for Tucker as he's always had a lot of natural ability and this could be the turning point for him with Summit Country Day.

Pickerington Central has been busy at a handful of team camps and Moore III and [player_tooltip player_id='2288381' first='Landon' last='Evans'] are the only guys with notable varsity experience playing with the Tigers right now. That means a lot of the leadership and scoring burden has been put on this rising senior duo's shoulders and they've responded well. Moore III started the game Vs North College Hill hot from beyond the arc, before settling in and getting to the basket off the dribble. An active player on both ends of the court, Moore III's length can bother offensive players both on and off the ball. Expect Moore III to receive a lot of small college interest this winter.

One of the top players in Kentucky, Brown just gets stuff done on the court and was excellent again on Sunday for his team. Brown gets low on his drives and plays with excellent balance, which makes him tough to stop when he's attacking downhill and allows him to score through contact. Skilled enough to finish using either hand at the rim, Brown had some tough finishes with each hand on Sunday. The ultimate question for Brown will be just how well he shoots the ball from 3-point range, but everything else he does to impact the game should make him a productive player at the Division I level.

St Xavier has a bit of a new look team with a bunch of seniors graduating from the program last season. Led by a 2028 trio that saw varsity action last season, it was Jackson who was dominant for the Tigers in games against Cincinnati powerhouses Summit Country Day and Princeton. Jackson swatted at least 10 shots between the two games, using excellent timing to block the shots and help start fast break opportunities for his team. St Xavier will need Jackson to continue to improve offensively as they play as tough of a schedule as any traditional high school program in the midwest.
