Geremia shot the leather off the ball this week. The 6-foot-2 guard confirmed my thoughts that he’s the best shooter in New England—he made threes again and again on a national level against some of the best teams in the country. He’s able to fly off screens and hit movement shots, but he also knows how to handle the ball and relocate once he gives it up. He doesn’t take too many off the dribble shots, but whenever he looks to create, I’m pretty shocked by how comfortable and confident he looks despite that not being a big part of Newman’s offensive attack. At Penn, I could definitely see him having more playmaking responsibilities, which I think he proved he can handle this week. His defense is also wildly underrated—great hands.

(Michigan). The Cardinals’ heartbeat, however, tends to come in the form of Geremia, one of four Ivy League pledges in the Newman rotation. A battle-tested guard with unsuspecting toughness, he’s a knockdown shooter who can connect in bunches from the perimeter but has also grown into a dependable ballhandler and secondary facilitator. His tough-nosed approach combined with his spurtability from the perimeter and steadiness for a team lacking a pure point guard could be the ultimate separator if Newman is to capture the crown.

Geremia shows new parts to his game every single time he gets out on the floor. Despite his reputation as a knock-down shooter, he continues to add offensive creation and is more effective as a driver than he’s ever been. Against Darrow, he had a phenomenal lefty finish where he used his physicality to bump off the defender and finish with the glass. He’s always going to get guys to overplay his three-point shooting, and he is a great closeout driver once that happens. Geremia is going to surprise people next year at Penn—he could walk into minutes right away because of his skillset and shooting gravity.

I could genuinely watch Geremia shoot all day. The UPenn commit has such a beautiful shot and makes it at a ridiculous clip. When I first saw him, he was mostly a standstill shooter that didn’t shoot with movement. Now, the shooting guard is flying off screens and cutting with great regularity. He’s also a lot stronger and bigger. Furthermore, he continues to develop his off the dribble game, which is huge for someone who constantly has defenders closing out hard to him. Geremia is going to be solid for UPenn and should rip the nets this season for Newman.

Geremia has always been known as a shooter, but the BABC guard had an awesome AAU season for one of the best teams in the country. He shot 46.8% from three on 126 attempts during the 3SSB season, but he also showcased an improved ability to attack closeouts and make plays for himself or others inside the arc. Furthermore, he held his own on the defensive end and racked up 1.1 steals and 4.7 rebounds per game. He isn’t just a shooter, and an increased role on Newman this season will further allow him to show that. Big time player who mid major coaches should be all over.

Geremia is a 6’2″ guard out of the Newman School. The 2026 prospect played a complimentary role for BABC this spring and summer, and in doing so, proved to be an elite piece on a successful team. The 6’2″ guard can play on or off the ball, makes tons of shots in catch and shoot situations, and rebounds way above his size defensively. He does whatever is asked of him on both ends of the floor, thinks the game at a really high level, and is capable of playing multiple offensive styles. With his diverse skill set, high compete level, and impact on winning, he’ll be a highly coveted prospect in this cycle.

Another consistent weekend from Geremia who excelled at the first live weekend at Babson. He showed that he can score on the attack going either way. He hit several shots from behind the arc. I like how Geremia uses his body as a battering ram and has no issue taking contact from defenders when he lumbers his way to the cup. His body allows him to eat up space on the floor. He found ways to make others better on the offensive end with his passing. He also was in good spots to get steals. Geremia is a definite stock riser whose play should garner interest from several division one programs.

Geremia’s two way game jumped off the page. He is a physical guard who does a nice job using his brute strength to bully defenders downhill. He is a threat to know down shots from behind the arc. He found others for scoring chances off their own and has no problem making others better. He has a great understanding of the game and makes winning plays that will translate to the next level. He should be a priority recruit for low major and low major plus programs

Wow, Geremia can really shoot it. His role on this BABC squad is clearly to move without the ball in order to find gaps in the defense and get open three-point looks. He won’t wow you with above-the-rim athleticism or quickness, but his shot is absolutely beautiful and he can get it off in a variety of scenarios. He also showed off the ability to attack closeouts once the defense started overplaying his shot. He will likely find a low-level D1 fit with his ability to shoot the ball and play within a team concept.
