Expert Analysis
Scott Burgess | Prep Hoops Scout
Gray ranks among the top uncommitted prospects still on the board in the 2026 class. It was a bit of a slow start for him, but he started to get it going as the first half went along. Long and lengthy wing drained a pair of threes. Moves well without the ball to get open. Then started to create off the bounce with straight line takes, sweeping finishes, and layups off quick hitters. Most impressive take was a left handed drive off a hang dribble at the top of the key where he blew past his man to finish with his off hand. Connective passer that is solid secondary passer. He had 21 points.

Will be an effective wing at the next level with true length and height. Comfortable handling the ball in transition on the primary break or in the ½ court setting. Presented a challenge all night on dribble drives ensuring defense drew contact to get to the stripe. Uses his size and mobility to advantage while scoring on 3 levels. Has a diverse skill set which complemented for a game high 15 points in a game 1 W for the Broncos.

Gray has excellent positional size on the wing, high skill level, and plus shot making from three. He is also a very consistent performer which we saw in June with his high school team regularly dropping 20 points knocking down shots from deep. During the first July session of UAA with the Wolves he went for 16 points a game while shooting 49% from three over the span of 7 games. Shooter with size and solid athleticism!
