Expert Analysis

Robbie Hodin

Prep Hoops Lead Scout

Moynahan plays basketball the right way. The 6-foot-6 wing can defend all positions because of his size and length, and he’s a tough kid who just wants to do whatever it takes to win. Offensively, he has really nice footwork coming off of screens and can knock down shots both ways, and he can also attack closeouts and finish with athleticism at the cup. Moynahan should be able to find a D3 fit and is the type of guy who will be loved by all his coaches.

Prep Hoops Scout

Monynahan is versatile forward who shows the ability to space the floor from behind the arc. He is very fluid with his shot mechanics and if his feet are set there is a high chance he will connect. He shows flashes as a creator for others with his passing skills. His length can be seen when he is going up to alter shots. Want to see Moynahan work on getting stronger which would make it easier for him to guard bigger opponents.
