Clement, a guard out of the Newman School in Massachusetts, came off the board when he announced his commitment to Babson College. The 6’1″ guard can operate on or off the ball on the offensive end of the floor and has made a name for himself with his ability to knock down perimeter jumpers in bunches. He is a solid decision maker in the half-court, moves well without the basketball and knows how to utilize screens, and does a nice job of finishing with touch over size around the rim. Clement should be a quality contributor for Babson and has the chance to have a really nice four-year career in the NEWMAC.

Clement absolutely lit it up at last week’s open gym. The 6-foot-1 PG was a total flamethrower and made shots from every area of the floor—he probably shot over 50% from three on high volume and difficulty. The senior also showcased great quickness at the point of attack and really good ball-handling ability on moves to the rim. I’m not sure whether he’ll be able to play big minutes on Newman’s top team, but I could see him running the show for the second team and picking up high level D3 recruitment as a result. Reminds me a lot of Mulvey from Babson.

Clement, a lead guard out of the Newman School in Massachusetts, he has continued to add elements to his offensive game that raise his ceiling as a prospect. He’s a high level shooter from behind the arc, both off the bounce and in catch and shoot situations, and shows the ability to make good reads as a handler in ball screen action. He keeps his eyes up the floor in transition and does a nice job of making the simple play while limiting his turnovers. Defensively, he stays in front of the ball and does a nice job of playing in rotation to beat opponents to the spot off the ball.

Clement, a lead guard out of the Newman School, checks into the rankings at #104, climbing 34 spots since our last update. A quality perimeter shooter, Clement has impressed this spring with his ability to run the show offensively. He does a good job of making plays out of ball screens, is able to manipulate defenders off the bounce to open up driving lanes, and seemingly knows where every is or should be on the offensive end of the floor. He gets into the paint at will and once there, can find shooters on the perimeter or finish with creativity over size. Defensively, he knows how to play within team concepts and does a good job of consistently being in the right spot out of rotations.
