Nettles is still one of the most talented perimeter shotmakers and ball handlers in the 2025 class, adding another layer to Eaglecrest’s scoring opportunities. Adept rising up from behind the arc or from the mid-range, that gorup has become even more troublesome to defend after a Final Four appearance last season. His quick instincts in the passing lanes and from help side created numerous fast break opportunities for Eaglecrest.

An impressive perimeter playmaker, the twitchy and speedy lead guard pulled his Tru Colorado group to the 17U championship, falling short against Mountain Stars. Despite the loss, Nettles provided numerous made shots on pull-up jumpers or drawn fouls around the rim. Excellent at recognizing when to push the pace against a lackluster defense, there were few guards who controlled the offensive end to Nettles’ degree.

Easily the most exciting guard to follow who played on the evening, Nettles will be a major offensive addition to Eaglecrest this upcoming season. Particularly skilled at changing speeds, there are few guards in the state with his skill handling the ball. Adept at creating space from crossovers or multiple combo moves, once Nettles has a head of steam, there is little opponents can do to keep him from scoring at the rim. Bringing soft touch on difficult attempts at the rim, he is truly comfortable within tight angles at the rim.

Nettles can score in droves, nearly impossible to stop from getting into the paint given his twitchy handle. An elite scorer even versus contact, do not let his slim frame discourage from the fact he is among the most polished perimeter scorers in the state.

A particularly shifty guard, Nettles has added another dimension to this Douglas County. Putting up 24 in a tight win over Highlands Ranch while drawing a staggering 15 free throws. Excellent at changing speeds and getting his defender of-balance, the guard is adept at throwing opponents into tough situations.
