If we’re talking pure basketball ability, Robinson has one of the more complete skill sets in the 2028 class. He can create with the ball in his hands, finish comfortably with either hand, and make advanced reads that very few players in the state even attempt. He also stretches the floor with his jumper, and those traits showed up throughout the event. What makes him so intriguing is that there are still areas of his game that can unlock another level. As he continues learning to stay even-keeled through the highs and lows of a game, his natural talent becomes even more impactful. There were stretches at the PH Tuneup where he completely controlled the game, and those moments are a reminder of just how high his ceiling is. The foundation is there, and the more consistently he channels that competitive edge, the more complete a player he’s going to become. I walked away wanting to see more of his game as I thoroughly enjoy how he plays, I just want to see it come together and him use it all to his advantage. 

Robinson has looked like a player on a mission throughout the spring, and the growth in his game has been impossible to miss. He’s playing with a level of confidence that shows up in every aspect of his performance, allowing him to impact the game in a variety of ways. Offensively he’s become a true three level scorer, knocking down perimeter shots, creating opportunities in the mid range and attacking the basket with purpose. He looks comfortable making plays with the ball in his hands and consistently puts pressure on opposing defenses. What separates him even further is the effort he brings on the defensive end. Robinson plays with relentless energy, competing on every possession, applying pressure and making life difficult for whoever he’s guarding. His confidence, versatility and intensity have elevated his game and made him one of the standout performers of the spring

Making an immediate impact at Eaglecrest, flashing elite defensive instincts and transition scoring ability. Robinson specializes in his disruptive perimeter defense and poise under pressure. His 3.6 SPG spearheaded a defense that consistently frustrated Centennial League opponents, helping the Raptors secure high-scoring wins over programs like Cherry Creek and Smoky Hill. As a versatile 6’3 playmaker with a high ceiling, Robinson is positioned to be a foundational piece for Eaglecrest’s varsity game plan.

Robinson delivered a well rounded, do it all performance throughout the tournament. He impacted the game in multiple areas, consistently crashing the boards and securing rebounds on both ends. Offensively he found ways to score within the flow, finishing inside and taking advantage of opportunities as they came. He also showed good vision, creating for others with timely, unselfish assists. His feel for the game stood out, as he stayed active and made the right play more often than not. With his versatility and steady production, Robinson proved to be a reliable all around contributor

We saw a bit of David this summer but as of late, we’ve seen him in what should be his role for Eaglecrest. As a difference-maker that they allow to make plays happen. He’s one of their core pieces with his ability to space the floor with his outside shot, he uses his athleticism to get to his spots for mid-range pullups and get all the way to the rim where he can score as well. Robinson’s blend of size and skill make him an intriguing prospect who should be able to produce a ton this season. He finds holes in the defense and slashes, grabs boards, and goes right back up and bottles his man defensively. We want to see the game slow down for him this year, and in a free-flowing offense where he gets more touches, he will have the opportunity to. Big year ahead for him.

His athleticism jumps out, and he uses his 6’3 frame well as a multi-positional defender. He’s a capable scorer who finishes inside and creates for teammates, but it’s his versatility on defense that sets the tone. When he’s fully engaged mentally, there’s very little that slows him down, but consistency will be key. Robinson has stretches where he dominates, but he’ll need to bring that motor night in and night out as he takes on a larger role for GW this season. He’s a breakout candidate to watch closely.

Offensively, Robinson creates space for himself and slices through defenses for open shots. With a savvy style of play and impressive ball handling, this is just the beginning for Robinson.

Robinson brought energy and versatility on both ends of the court. He crashed the boards with intensity, eliminating second chance opportunities for opponents and sparking transition offense. Defensively, he proved capable of guarding multiple positions and altering shots inside. Once he found his rhythm, he also stretched the floor with perimeter shooting, creating more space for his teammates. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to play in the second game but left his impression after the first.

Robinson has been impressive in recent showcase events alongside his opportunities at the junior varsity level as an all around shotmaker. At his best while attacking the rim, he is at his best while attacking off the rip, while opposing defenses are still rotating over.  

Robinson has upside as a complementary shotmaker, confident off the catch and willing to attack the closeout if the lane opens up. The guard already brings a lanky frame, adept at defending both backcourt positions given his lateral and vertical quickness. George Washington brings in plenty of underclassmen talent, particularly in the backcourt, Robinson will be the latest addition to that group.
