Manns Davis showed he could be dangerous as a scorer, and he specifically had it going from deep at the showcase. He was not standing around waiting for the ball to find him. He worked to get himself open, relocated into open spots, and demanded the ball and made defenders account for where he was on the floor. I also liked what happened when the defense started reacting to him. Manns Davis recognized the extra attention, drew defenders his direction, and was willing to make the extra pass to an open teammate rather than forcing his own look, and that is not something you always see at showcases. That ability to create some gravity with his shooting while still playing unselfishly gave his offense another layer, and he’s a very solid player that I am sure we’ll hear about moving forward.

Manns Davis was a player we had heard plenty about, and finally getting the chance to see him in person absolutely lived up to the hype. Playing up an age group doesn’t faze him one bit and he quickly showed that he belonged on the floor. With his size and length, he presents a difficult matchup, especially on the perimeter. He showcased a lightning quick release and proved to be a legitimate threat from beyond the arc whenever he had space. Davis also demonstrated the ability to put the ball on the floor, attack the lane and make plays off the bounce. Defensively his length was a major factor, as his long arms disrupted passing lanes, altered shots and made life difficult for opposing players

Dvonte plays with a natural feel for the game that makes everything look smooth. Offensively, he can score from multiple areas on the floor without forcing it making him a hand full to defend at times. His length also allows him to make an impact defensively by disrupting passing lanes and contesting shots.
