The most intriguing long-term prospect on SPIRE’s International Varsity team, Goring has really caught the eye with his two-way ability on the interior. Coming off a bit of a growth spurt over the past year and change, he mans the paint with a blend of grace and aggressiveness. He’s extremely light on his feet with soft, passer-friendly hands and a swift touch as a finisher around the rim off lobs or dumpoffs. Defensively, he shows great verticality as a rim protector while also being able to drop his hips smoothly on the perimeter for multiple slides. He’s still coming into his own physically and learning to impose his will on games, but all the building blocks are there for a future high-major big man.
