I’ve previously only ever seen Losiewicz play with his Newman squad, which is one of the best prep teams in the country — he doesn’t get too many on-ball reps in that environment. But at Monday’s showcase, I saw a whole different part of his game. He’s a great ball handler and shooter who can score from all three levels, and he uses his strength to overpower other guards in the paint. The 6-foot-3 guard also has some really impressive hops and can sky at the rim for putback dunks — his timing and rebounding for his size is very impressive. I could see Losiewicz playing at the D2 level, or at least being an excellent D3 player.

Losiewicz starred this summer while running with Team White Mamba and profiles as a prospect that should have a big season on a national stage at the Newman School. A physcial guard with an advanced skillset, Losiewicz is a good athlete and crafty scorer that can play on or off the ball. He’s a good athlete that can make plays above the rim in transition and while slashing in the half-court. He can score with either hand around the rim and does a good job of stepping into his shot off catch-and-shoot situations. He’s a good decision maker with the ball in his hands and makes quality reads in ball screens and transition. Defensively, he’s tough on the ball, physical at the point of attack, and does a great job of rebounding in space. He’ll have a chance to impress this fall as numerous coaches are expected to be in the Newman gym and should be able to play his way into scholarship consideration.

Losiewicz has a mean hesitation move and got multiple defenders with it on his way to some high-arcing finishes at the rim over larger defenders. Strong, long athlete with solid bounce and a good handle who makes the simple play for his teammates. Would imagine he’ll be a scholarship player at the next level.

Aidan is a combo guard, who is a sharp shooter with range. He is good playing in transition. He likes to push the ball up the floor to start the fast break offense. He is good passing the ball up the floor, or taking it himself in transition. A good three and d guy, who sees the floor really well. Aidan has a good set of handles as well and uses a variety of dribble moves to get past the defense.
