Coming into the event with a handful of D1 offers to his name, Ichima was going out and playing hard on both ends of the floor. After turning the ball over on one play, rather than jogging back Ichima sprinted up the floor and swatted a lay-up attempt to get possession back for his team. He continues to get more and more comfortable handling the ball, and when you combine that with a long and agile frame, he’s so tough to keep away from the rim. At this stage he’s perhaps at his best as a defender who can guard nearly every spot on the floor, but the offensive potential is clear as well.
