The quick and shifty guard for SFA, West, plays the game with a little swag and is just fun to watch. He has elite handles, and a lightning quick first step where he likes to attack the paint and finish around the basket, or dump it off to an open teammate for an easy bucket. He has the ability stop on a dime and knock down his jumper, and also shoots it very well from behind the arc. The 6’2″ rising junior is an excellent defender, who has a knack for forcing steals.
