A top 35 player in the in-state 2026 class, Lawrence North senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561031' first='Cameron' last='Webster'] also feels like one of the more underrated ones, as well. The Lawrence North Wildcats have had an excellent season and a big part of that is due to the play of Webster, which is why they are 15-2 thus far. For the Wildcats, Webster is the guy in the backcourt for them making the plays happen in a lot of ways. Watch Webster this week when Lawrence North faces Carmel on the road.

While they may only be 7-8 so far this season, the Lawrence Central Bears are one of the most talented teams on paper and one of those guys is senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1561112' first='Gavin' last='Petty']. The 6'5 senior guard had some injury troubles to start the year but has really came on this last month. He I averaging 9.9 points per game being one of the best three-and-D prospects in the in-state senior class. This week, you can watch vs North Central and Liberty Christian.

One of the best teams in all of Class 2A this season has been the Triton Central Tigers and the main reason for that has been the elite production from senior point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561110' first='Elias' last='Sego']. Up to this point in the season, Sego is averaging a team high 21 points and 3.4 assists per game while also adding 4.2 rebounds and shooting 55% from the field. Sego has always been one of the best under-the-radar players in the season but this guy is a straight playmaker with the ball in his hands. You can watch him vs Convenant Christian and Greenwood Christian this week.

3 Teams

Mount Vernon Fortville (4A) – When you have the favorite to win Indiana Mr. Basketball on your team, you are almost always going to taken advantage of the benefits of that and that is certainly what MVF has done this season. Being led by Purdue signee [player_tooltip player_id='1728587' first='Luke' last='Ertel'] and his 25.1 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game, MVF is 16-2 so far this season and have won their last 8 games. MFV has also gotten strong contributions from players such as [player_tooltip player_id='2140419' first='Max' last='Vise'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2892552' first='Jack' last='Guerre']. MVF will look to keep their winning streak alive when they face Noblesville this week.

Gibson Southern (3A) – Seems like every week there has been a new Class 3A team to enter their name in the race and the most recent team to start to stand out is Gibson Southern. The Titans are 11-4 on the season and have won their last three games, which includes a great win over Evansville Bosse. For the Titans, it is junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2891750' first='Reece' last='Runyan'] leading them with 14.8 points and junior wing [player_tooltip player_id='2140411' first='Kolton' last='Schmitt'] with 12.9 points. Keep a close on Gibson Southern as the season progresses, starting with their games vs Boonville, Southridge, and Tell City this week.

Park Tudor (2A) – The Panthers of Park Tudor have been on a roll as of late which has started to make them a legit threat when it comes to the Class 2A race. Having won their last 5 of 6 games, the Panthers are 9-5 on the season with likely more wins coming their way. Guys like [player_tooltip player_id='2140369' first='Griffyn' last='Robisch'], [player_tooltip player_id='2400045' first='Keylan' last='Smith'], and many others on this team make Park Tudor won of the tougher teams in all of Class 2A. This week, they have Scecina, International, and Brebeuf Jesuit.

3 Matchups

Terre Haute North (4A) at Plainfield (4A) - Feb 5th, 7:30

One of the top matchups in all of class 4A this week will be on Thursday night when the Terre Haute North Patriots go on the road to face the Plainfield Quakers. Both of these teams are riding long winning streaks heading into this game something will have to give. The key matchup to watch in this one will be DePaul signee [player_tooltip player_id='1561513' first='Noah' last='Smith'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1561105' first='Brady' last='Klopfenstein'] but this game will come down to which supporting cast of players such as [player_tooltip player_id='2267048' first='Harper' last='Baker-Lands'], [player_tooltip player_id='2140323' first='Blake' last='Hammond'], and other talented guys make plays. This feels like a game that will come down to the wire. I like Terre Haute North in this one.

Mishawaka Marian (3A) at South Bend Riley (4A) - Feb 3rd, 7:30

Up in the northern part of the state is very intriguing game between Mishawaka Marian going on the road to face South Bend Riley. The Knights of MM will enter this game with a 5 game winning streak but this will be one of the tougher games they have remaining with how well South Ben Riley has been playing led by senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2398991' first='Tyrese' last='Jones']. For the Knights to get a road win here, it will come down to what [player_tooltip player_id='3164890' first='Andre' last='Wells'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2394088' first='Prescott' last='Horvath'] can do for them. Give me South Bend Riley in a great game.

Sullivan (2A) at Bloomfield (1A) - Feb 7th, 7:30

Down in southern Indiana is a game featuring two of the best Class 2A and 1A teams in the state. The Sullivan Golden Arrows will go on the road to face Bloomfield Cardinals on Saturday night. Of course, the most important matchup to watch in this one is [player_tooltip player_id='1561438' first='Cooper' last='Bock'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1560962' first='Blake' last='Neill'], which is one of the best player matchups you will find all season. This game right here just feels like a physical, southern Indiana matchup. Give me Bloomfield in this one.
