Triton Central continues to advance. After making it through a competitive Sectional 43 they defeated Cardinal Ritter in the Regional 57-51. The Tigers leaned heavily on their star senior guard Eli Sego who put up 30 points in the game. He now has over 1,600 points in his very successful high school career.

Sego scored 24 points to go with 3 rebounds and 4 assists on Saturday afternoon in Triton Central’s 56-39 win over Greenwood Christian. The Tigers are now 14-3 on the season.

One of the best teams in all of Class 2A this season has been the Triton Central Tigers and the main reason for that has been the elite production from senior point guard Elias Sego Elias Sego 6'0" | PG Triton Central | 2026 State IN . Up to this point in the season, Sego is averaging a team high 21 points and 3.4 assists per game while also adding 4.2 rebounds and shooting 55% from the field. Sego has always been one of the best under-the-radar players in the season but this guy is a straight playmaker with the ball in his hands. You can watch him vs Convenant Christian and Greenwood Christian this week.

Triton Central is making a solid push at being considered for the Class 2A Top 10 after a 6-1 start. The Tigers are led by senior point guard Elias Sego Elias Sego 6'0" | PG Triton Central | 2026 State IN who is averaging 21.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 2.1 steals per game. Their only loss was to Shelbyville, 52-39, back on November 29th. They have two more big games coming up against Class 3A opponents with trips to Greenwood and Roncalli. Those will be great opportunities to evaluate Sego against some solid competition.

Sego is one of the top under-the-radar point guards in Indiana’s Class of 2026. He stuffed the stat sheet at Triton Central High School as a junior averaging 17.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.2 steals per game while making 53 three-point shots at a 43% clip.

With a couple of Division I prospects leading the way on Indiana Basketball Club, some of the other guys can fly a bit under-the-radar. Sego, the team’s point guard, is one of those guys. He handled the ball very well throughout the week/weekend while playing against 3SSB competition, shot it well from beyond the arc, and was a key piece of his team’s success. The rising senior at Triton Central High School finished the event averaging 8.8 pints and 2.2 assists per game while shooting 6-14 from three-point range. Sego will be one of the top small college point guard prospects throughout his senior season.

A highly productive high school player at Triton Central, Sego has parlayed his success into the spring with Indiana Basketball Club – Oldham. The 6’0″ guard is an above-average three-point shooter, has shown a real willingness as a playmaker while playing alongside some talented teams, and contributes to winning in all settings. Small college programs, including scholarship school, will want to get eyes on this IBC team and Sego is certainly one of the prospects worth evaluating. He projects as one of the top small college backcourt prospects in Indiana’s Class of 2026.
