several times over the last few years. He has always been a player with that impacted games with his size and athleticism, but the offensive feel really stood out to me. Exceptional passer that was able to manipulate the defense with his eyes and make on time, on point passes for open looks. Also scored it well throughout the day. Inside-out threat that knocked down shots early and that opened up his driving game where he was able to get all the way to the rim. Always a versatile defender and rebounder for the Patriots. He will be arguably the top option for one of the top teams in the state this coming season.

is a strong framed, athletic guard that defends at a high level. Capable of guarding multiple positions, he uses his size to his advantage as the aggressor. Rebounds his position well. Has shown an improved offensive game. Aggressive downhill driver that finishes strong and above the rim. Capable three-point shooter, but thrives putting it on the floor and getting in the lane. Received an offer from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College back on June 4th.

The physical tools always stand out when watching this 6’4″ wing from Terre Haute North. He can bully his way to the basket off of the dribble, finish through contact at the end of his drives, and crash the offensive glass for putbacks. It is hard for other guards and wings to handle his strength around the basket. Hammond also found his outside shooting stroke a couple of times on Tuesday knocking in some catch-and-shoot three-point shots. He will once again be a main guy for Terre Haute North and should garner a good deal of college attention heading into the Charlie Hughes Showcase and the month of July.

There are few, if any, teams in the state of Indiana that are as hot as Terre Haute North right now. The Patriots backed up their big win over Plainfield with a 79-61 win at Decatur Central on Saturday afternoon. Hammond, an athletic, physical junior wing, led the way with 23 points in the game. Terre Haute North’s balanced scoring attack, with several different guys capable of scoring 20+, has been a big part of their 14-game winning streak. Hammond was the one to step up and lead the charge on Saturday.

Terre Haute North used a wild 25-0 run to pull away from Cloverdale after trailing 18-11 late in the first quarter. Hammond, one of the most athletically and physically gifted wings in Indiana’s Class of 2027, was a big part of that run. He went on to finish with 22 points to lead all scorers in the Patriots 75-52 victory.
