Sharpshooting 6’6” Wing is a soon to be four year varsity contributor for the Titans that could be saving the best for last. Arguably the best shooter in the area showed it all June long in the games he played in after his baseball season ended. Easy offensive game that centers around his shot making ability. Not the quickest or most athletic player at 6’6”, but knows how to put himself in position to score. Smooth shooter with deep range. Comfortable shooting off the catch and off the dribble at his size he’s able to rise over smaller defenders. Getting more comfortable with his middle game off the dribble. Really good in the mid-post face up game. Should be one of the top scorers in the area with interest from several Division III schools.

Long and lanky wing that showed why he’s one of the best three-point shooters not only in Southwest Indiana, but in the entire state. At 6’6”, he showed his ability to score in a variety of different ways using his size to his advantage. High release on his shot with deep range. Was really good in the mid-post. Has good feel playing with his back to the basket scoring with either hand around the rim.

Gibson Southern capped off an impressive 17-6 regular season on Thursday night with a 67-52 win over North Posey. 6’6″ junior Kolton Schmitt Kolton Schmitt 6'6" | SF Gibson Southern | 2027 State IN has had an excellent season for the Titans showcasing his versatile offensive skill set. He scored a team-leading 22 points in the win on Thursday evening. Schmitt will be an intriguing prospect to follow this spring and summer.
