It is hard to compete with the athletic and physical tools of this unsigned senior wing at Park Tudor. The 6’4″ Smith helped led the Panthers to an impressive 70-61 win over Shortridge on Saturday night. In the game he finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists. Small college programs should continue to pursue Smith throughout this season.

Smith checks all of the boxes right away when it comes to athletic and physical tools The 6’4″ wing is strong enough to bully his way through contact, but remains explosive enough to get up and finish around the rim. He excels in transition and as a straight line, right hand driver, but flashes some impressive defensive versatility as well. Look for the Park Tudor senior to garner some small college interest throughout his senior season.

There is no denying the physical and athletic tools of this 6’3″-6’4″ hybrid wing/forward from Park Tudor. Smith was impressive over the course of the summer both with the Panthers and with EG10 on the grassroots circuit. He is an active and effective cutter, can attack the rim downhill in a straight line from the perimeter, and projects as a highly versatile defender across multiple positions. Smith is a guy that more small college programs should be actively pursuing at this point.

You can’t help but watch Smith and get excited about his athletic and physical tools. However, on Saturday, he matched it with a good deal of production in Park Tudor’s contest against Oak Hill. The 6’4″ wing/forward had a big-time end-to-end stretch where he finished an alley-oop and then had a chase down block. Smith went on to make a tough turnaround out of the mid-post, finish a couple of right hand drives at the rim, and showcase his defensive versatility along the way.

There may not have been a more powerful rebounder that I watched this past weekend at The Stage. Smith has always had the size and natural strength since he came into high school and he still uses that to his advantage. Really physical around the rim and just takes so much pride when it comes to rebounding.
