Platt was a player that I got a chance to see back at the PH Indiana State Tournament and he came away as one of the more impressive prospects that I saw. It is clear to me that he is wired to score the ball and plays with such a high motor at all times. A player that can play both on and off the ball, Platt can score at multiple levels and can get hot from deep or just being relentless in the lane.

Park Tudor is always on our list of stops that we make in the fall when attending preseason workouts. Therefore, Platt has been on our radar for a couple of years now. However, he now has broken into our Class of 2028 prospect rankings at #52 after a solid sophomore season and a strong spring with Indiana Elite Team Tradition 16u. He is a talented scorer and shot-maker on the perimeter.

Out of all the players that I had a chance to watch over the weekend at the Prep Hoops Indiana State Tournament, 2028 Park Tudor guard Owen Platt Owen Platt 6'2" | PG/SG Park Tudor | 2028 State IN was easily one of the more impressive. I did not see a player set a ton early in a game like Platt did showcasing a very high motor and just being a flat-out scoring machine. He has a real dangerous jumper but what impressed me the most was how quick he was off the dribble and just the hustle he played with overall. Very shifty guard to keep an eye on for the Panthers.

We had the chance to watch Park Tudor go through a fall workout a month or so ago and this sophomore guard really caught our attention. Platt has a chance to emerge as one of their best shooters and all-around scorers this season. He is a smooth ball handler, but also operates well off of the ball as a shooting threat. Platt will definitely be one that climbs into the prospect rankings as we continue to expand them.
