High School Spotlight: Park Tudor Panthers

The High School Spotlight Series is back and we are excited to feature multiple teams throughout the state once again! The season is still a few months away, but it is never too early to look ahead at the high school season. We will be taking a look at some quick hitters, the top player(s), a potential breakout player, other roster members, and more for the upcoming season. For today's spotlight, we take a look at the Park Tudor Panthers.

Quick Hitters

Went 14-9 last season.

Lost to Cardinal Ritter in Sectionals.

Head Coach Eddy Wagner starts his 1st year as head coach.

Talented group of juniors that could lead them to a possible Sectional 42 Championship.

Top Player: [player_tooltip player_id='2871458' first='Owen' last='Platt']

The Park Tudor Panthers will look a little different across the board this season, but they may have one of the most talented groups of juniors at the Class 2A level. Leading the Panthers this season will be 6'2" combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='2871458' first='Owen' last='Platt']. Platt was one of the more impressive juniors that I had a chance to watch this past summer, and I am really excited about what he could do during the high school season. He is a player who is wired to score and can do so both on and off the ball at a high level.

Potential Breakout Player: [player_tooltip player_id='2538865' first='Brody' last='Bluiett']

Running alongside [player_tooltip player_id='2871458' first='Owen' last='Platt'] this season is junior wing [player_tooltip player_id='2538865' first='Brody' last='Bluiett'], who has a chance to be one of our top breakout juniors by March. At 6'4", Bluiett is an extremely physical forward who can dominate on the glass. He is a very productive player who is relentless around the basket and is not afraid of any contact. His style of play will be a big factor in the success that Park Tudor has this season.

Other Key Roster Members

[player_tooltip player_id='2539981' first='Carlos' last='Lopez']

[player_tooltip player_id='3690487' first='Will' last='Barrett']

[player_tooltip player_id='2538910' first='Ashton' last='Reid']

[player_tooltip player_id='2957431' first='Kingston' last='May']

Jameson Harney

Konnor Staubach

Andrew Guerra

Kenneth Benge

Kaleb Keeylan

Soloman Devine
