Richwoods Knights’ Alijah Johnson Alijah Johnson 6'1" | PG Peoria Richwoods | 2028 State IL (#11) is a player who stood out this week. Making his presence felt on the Knights’ sophomore squad, he’s already emerging as a key floor leader. Johnson proved to be a shifty ball handler. He pressured the defense by attacking the rim. He could also pull up for a smooth jumper. Johnson demonstrated good court vision, making the right reads at the right time, and using his athleticism to create separation.

Johnson is now at Richwoods and the 6’1” point guard was an exciting player with the ball.  The lead guard plays with a ton of speed and good decision making.  He knocked in multiple threes and got in the heart of the defense finishing through contact for and-1s.

Has a level of speed and quickness he can burst into quickly that makes it tough to stay in front of with the ball. Can play a 1 or off guard spot at the next level. Comes with a pure jump shot from mid range or from 3 land. A space creator. Has a natural bounce and rhythm to get into his shot or draw defenders for dish offs. Works well in traffic or alone in space. Will play with another guard and they should compliment each other really well over next 3 years.
