Weatherspoon continued his momentum in June after a nice freshman season.  Keeps his head up in the open floor getting to the cup or making quality decisions as a passer.  Really like his ability to finish with a variety of soft touch finishes along with acrobatic layups.

Kingston Weatherspoon is a shifty ball-handler who made quick transitions while dribbling, creating space between himself and the opposing guard. Weatherspoon was primarily used for playmaking and assisting, but he also found a few open lanes to attack. Overall, Weatherspoon looked like a combo guard with the offensive skills to make good decisions.

Next up Raiders guard that impacts as a scorer and playmaker. Dynamic handler who possesses creativity off the bounce while navigating traffic. Works well in transition phase and keeps eyes up for pitch a heads or quick decision making once extra defenders come. Efficient finisher in ½ court and in primary break phase. Finished through contact for an and1, converted on challenging baseline angles and can hit floaters over more size on feathery touch. Defensively active in passing lanes and on the ball to help create turnovers. A 2-way player with sufficient activity level that will fill role as a true lead guard.

Weatherspoon is a 2029 point guard to keep tabs on.  Slick ball handler that slithers through the defense for sweeping layups and is a capable three point shooter had 5 points in the last game of his freshman campaign.
