It will be fun to see what kind of a role Davison will step into this season at New Palestine High School. The 6'3" guard was in the rotation for a very good team as a freshman and now should be one of the Dragons' go-to scoring options as a sophomore. Davison is an excellent three-point shooter, but can also use his perimeter shooting threat to attack closeouts and finish around the rim. Look for him to make a big sophomore leap this coming season. He certainly looked ready to take on more offensive responsibility at the Sophomore ID Camp on Sunday.

This 6'4" hybrid wing/forward made an instant impact at the varsity level averaging 9.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game as a freshman at Scecina Memorial. He continued that production throughout the summer on the UAA Circuit with Progeny 15u. Then, once again, he was among the best prospects in attendance at Sunday's Sophomore ID Camp. Foster is such a physical presence and a very difficult matchup for opponents. He also projects, especially at his size/position, as one of the better rebounders in Indiana for the Class of 2028. We look forward to continuing to follow his development.

One of two Top 10 prospects from the Class of 2028 that attended Sunday's Sophomore ID Camp, Gilbert certainly reiterated his placement in the rankings. The 6'5" wing who transferred from Warren Central to Lawrence North High School is such a smooth operator on the perimeter. He shoots the ball at a high level, can attack closeouts, and floats to the rim to finish off of the bounce. We here at Prep Hoops remain very high on Gilbert as a prospect and are glad he was in attendance for our event. Look for him to have a big sophomore season for Lawrence North.

The highest ranked prospect to attend our Sophomore ID Camp, Hardiman did what he does best on Sunday...score the basketball. He is seemingly impossible to stop when he gets a head of steam downhill to the rim. Hardiman is so quick and covers a lot of ground with his first step. As he attacks the basket he fluidly changes direction and is slippery off of the bounce consistently knifing his way through defenders to the rim. His outside shot continues to progress as well which will only put more pressure on opposing defenses. Hardiman had a massive freshman season at Merrillville in terms of scoring the basketball and is poised for yet another big year.

Another prospect that was a freshman contributor at the varsity level, Johnson has continued to expand his game and that was on display at the Sophomore ID Camp. The super strong and physical 6'2" forward loves to bully opponents around the basket and that is still where he excels the most. However, he has started to expand his game more out to the perimeter as a shooter and playmaker. Johnson flashed those growing skills on Sunday and looks ready to have a big year for the Wildcats.

Admittedly, we weren't aware of this 5'9" point guard prospect out of Portage High School prior to Sunday's event. However, that is also exactly why the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp is so valuable. Rivera showed up and immediately captured our attention. He was one of the most impressive pure playmakers in the gym consistently getting into the paint and either making the right play to a teammate or finishing with either hand at the end of his drives. Rivera's ability to penetrate and draw help led to a lot of open shots for his teammates in both 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 settings.

Another one of the top ranked prospects to attend our Sophomore ID Camp, Vogt once again proved himself as one of the top catch-and-shoot threats in the Class of 2028. He impressed at our event with his ability to make perimeter shots in a variety of ways. We saw him pick-and-pop, ghost into a pop, and spot up away from the ball as a floor spacer. Vogt was able to knockdown three-point shots from each of those spots. The 6'5" guard from West Lafayette High School already possesses good positional size to match his shooting ability.

Wilson Jr. was arguably the most impressive prospect at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. He quickly jumped into our Top 20 after an excellent spring and summer on the UA Rise Circuit with [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game']. Now, the 6'4" wing just keeps getting better and better. He is effortlessly athletic with some real explosive ability when rising up to finish at the end of his drives. Wilson Jr. also shot the ball very well from beyond the arc on Sunday which just adds a further dimension to his game. The Crown Point High School sophomore will be playing in a loaded lineup, but don't surprise to see him break through and really garner some attention this season.
