Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase – Team 9 Evaluations

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Our annual Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase is arguably the most popular event that we put on each year. Not only is it a great opportunity for our staff to get an early evaluation of some of the most talented freshmen before the begin their high school career, but it also serves as an important evaluation/recruiting tool for our state's many great AAU programs. This year we welcomed in over 100 of the best Class of 2029 prospects here in Indiana. Did a really good job playing off two feet and was under control for the most part making some impressive passes to open teammates. Good handle that was able to handle pressure and did a really good job using angles and his leverage to find ways to get to his spot. Capable three-point shooter with a nice clean stroke. Aggressive driver that finished at a high clip when he got to the basket. Really impressive rebounder for his size. So poised with the ball in his hands. He did a good job balancing scoring and facilitating. Good size frame that takes contact well and able to finish in traffic. Tight handle that let him get to his spot. Did a good job playing off two feet. Showcased soft touch on his floater in the lane. Smooth shooter that stays on balance. Does a good job reading screens and the defense to know how to get open. When getting in the lane he does a good job using his body to play through contact. Confident scorer from the perimeter, he showed a smooth stroke with deep range with a high release where he was able to get it off even when contested. Drove close outs under control and was able to stop in the midrange and pop with a soft touch. Communicated well defensively and rebounded well for his size.
