LVL Up 15u held on for an impressive 61-59 win late on Thursday night. Lee, a 6’2″ rising sophomore wing from Homestead High School, led the way in the scoring column with 14 points. His ability to put his head down and drive it to the rim against ball pressure, along with what he got done in transition, was a big part of the win. He has good positional size on the perimeter and is very strong as a finisher at the end of his drives. Look for him to factor into the rotation for one of the top Class 4A teams in the state as a sophomore.

You can tell very quickly that Lee is a plug-and-play sort of guy. In a 3-on-3 setting when the ball was in hands more often he was a capable scorer and facilitator. Then, in 5-on-5 play, he was willing and able to excel in his role. The Homestead High School wing is versatile on both ends of the floor across multiple positions and has a very bright future ahead. We are anxious to continue watching him develop over the years as part of what looks to be a pretty good young crop of talent at Homestead.

High IQ guard that did a little bit of everything at this year’s sophomore camp. Smooth shooter that stays on balance. Does a good job reading screens and the defense to know how to get open. When getting in the lane he does a good job using his body to play through contact. Also showed to be a good positional rebounder on both ends of the floor.

We have a handful of incoming freshmen from Homestead High School attending our showcase. Lee is a skilled 6’1″ wing that presents some matchup issues for opponents. He is skilled enough to drive it on bigger defenders but has a level of strength and physicality that is hard for guards his age to handle. We are excited to get a further evaluation of him in early September.
