LaCross, a transfer from Blackhawk Christian, is a big part of why they are legitimate contenders now. The talented 6’4″ rising junior guard averaged 22.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.

Homestead has had an excellent weekend and LaCross has been a big part of their success. The 6’4″ guard is highly skilled on the offensive end. He has good positional size, takes contact well as a driver, and is an excellent shot-maker both from beyond the arc and in the mid-range. LaCross is going to be a major difference-maker for the Spartans this season.

A lot of what Blackhawk does runs through LaCross and is game that can be tasked with that playmaker role. He is strong in the lane and gets to the basket at ease while also being a solid jump shooter and passer. Strong, athletic, skilled guard.

LaCross continues to prove himself as one of the top sophomores in the state of Indiana. The 6’4″ guard poured in a career-high 35 points in a 67-64 win over Fort Wayne Wayne on Saturday night. He also had 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the game. Blackhawk Christian is now 12-5 on the season and will not be an easy team to beat in the Class 3A tournament.
