A skilled wing who got it done from 3 land in team’s Friday early evening matchup. Tallied him for 4 3’s off the catch with one being from well off the perimeter line. Shows a smooth and confident stroke. Not phased under tight defensive pressure while still making sound shot selection. Slashed to gaps off the ball for open opps. Will utilize a quick first step burst at times to get past defender. Also stayed active to crash the glass on both sides. Combination of shooting and basketball IQ will continuously make an impact.

This was my first time seeing Koch in person and he is definitely someone that is going to be making a nice debut in our next rankings update.  The 6’3” wing is the younger brother of former top 5 prospect Cooper Koch.  Sam is more of a perimeter player that brings slashing to the table.  Also really liked how he rebounded the ball consistently flying in for put backs. Can also deck it as he did with shot fakes before blowing past his defender.  The feel and instincts stand out.
