Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase – Team 8 Evaluations

Not only is it a great opportunity for our staff to get an early evaluation of some of the most talented freshmen before the begin their high school career, but it also serves as an important evaluation/recruiting tool for our state's many great AAU programs. This year we welcomed in over 100 of the best Class of 2029 prospects here in Indiana. A smaller guard, he is incredibly smooth on the ball and can score effectively off the dribble. At 5'10", he ran the point guard role extremely well and competed aggressively on the defensive end. A homeschool product, Culbertson showed solid athleticism in the backcourt while also mixing it up in the lane and scoring through contact. At 6'0", Cochran is a small forward who showed strength in the lane and some impressive skills with his ball handling. A long and lanky prospect, he projects to be a versatile player capable of developing an inside-out game. One player who projects to be a solid piece is [player_tooltip player_id='2897209' first='Damon' last='Patton']. At 6'5", this former homeschool product showed elite skill on the ball, able to score consistently at all three levels of the floor. He is a thinner guard with a solid jumper and plays effectively off the catch.
