With the recent update of our class of 2026 rankings, we will take a look at positional rankings between guards, wings and forwards.

Here's a look at part one of the top shooting guards and small forwards in the junior class.

25) [player_tooltip player_id='2252305' first='Mike' last='Robinson'] | 6'4” SF | South County (#57 Overall)

Robinson built upon a successful sophomore season with an even better junior season, and is set for a big summer to see his stock rise moving forward. The 6'4” wing is a strong and athletic player who thrives in transition with his finishing ability when he gets downhill, he can score it from all three levels both off the catch and off the bounce and when he gets it going he can fill it up in bunches.

24) Jisiah Bryant | 6'5” SF | Liberty Christian (#54 Overall)

Bryant debuted in the rankings last round after being an All Region selection as a sophomore, and he followed it up with another big season for LCA and he's perhaps the most intriguing prospect in the Lynchburg area. A 6'5” he's a well built and athletic wing who gets downhill aggressively and can finish through contact, he rebounds well on both ends of the floor, he's a solid shooter and ball handler with room to improve and he can guard and play multiple positions.

23) [player_tooltip player_id='2382874' first='Mason' last='Ridgeway'] | 6'6” SF | Riverside (#52 Overall)

Ridgeway was a huge part of a Riverside team that made a run to the Class 5 State semifinal, and he's a prospect coaches should watch over the summer as he has a lot of traits that translate well to the next level. At 6'6” with long arms he has prototypical size on the perimeter, he can light it up off the catch, he can put it on the deck and get to spots with the ability to make tough shots and he is an underrated athlete as well.

22) [player_tooltip player_id='2347772' first='Jake' last='Bahr'] | 6'4” SG | Bishop Ireton (#51 Overall)

Bahr is one of those players who would be a star at a public school, but accepts a role on an Ireton team that will has steadily improved over the years and will be a tough team to compete with next season when they're all seniors. The 6'4” two guard has good size and a frame that should fill out well, he can drill it from deep with a quick release, he plays with a good motor and he makes winning plays on both ends of the floor.

21) [player_tooltip player_id='1767550' first='Andrew' last='Maria'] | 6'5” SG | Bethel Academy (#50 Overall)

Maria is a player who has steadily improved over the past few years, and could see himself move up this list with another big summer. The 6'5” guard is an all-around impactful player who can knock down shots on the move, he can handle it and create shots for himself and others, he's gotten more explosive over the past few years and he competes on both ends too.

20) [player_tooltip player_id='2252302' first='William' last='Robinson'] | 6'5” SF | Westfield (#49 Overall)

Robinson is part of a Westfield team that had a great season and will return many of their top guys for next season, and his versatility is one of the most important parts of their team. At 6'5” he's able to play multiple positions for them based on the look they want to go with, he is a good athlete in transition, he can knock down shots and attack closeouts and he's a good rebounder for his size too.

19) [player_tooltip player_id='1767553' first='Trey' last='Fitch'] | 6'5” SG | Fairfax Christian (#46 Overall)

Fitch was the captain for Fairfax Christian's third straight VISAA D-III championship, and the 6'5” wing not only brings a lot of leadership but impacts the game in a number of different ways too. He is a good shooter who can make shots from deep on the move or spotting up, he can get to spots and uses fakes well to get his shot off, he's an unselfish playmaker and he can guard the other team's best perimeter scorer too.

18) [player_tooltip player_id='1963530' first='Marcus' last='Hancock'] | 6'3” SG | St. Stephen's St. Agnes (#45 Overall)

Hancock transferred to SSSAS from John Paul over the summer, and was a big reason that they were able to make a run to the VISAA D-I Final Four this year. At 6'3” Hancock is one of the most consistent shooters you'll find with deep range and the ability to get set quickly, he has a high IQ as a playmaker, he's improved his ability to create off the bounce and he's able to score it efficiently from multiple levels.

17) [player_tooltip player_id='2459361' first='Caleb' last='Straughter'] | 6'7” SF | Varina (#44 Overall)

Straughter keeps looking better and better over the last few seasons, and is one of the most intriguing prospects in the Richmond area with his blend of size and athleticism that gives him a lot of upside moving forward. At 6'7” he's able to move his feet and run the floor like a true wing to guard and play on the perimeter, he can knock down shots off the catch from deep, he can handle it in transition and get downhill off the bounce and he has a lot of upside as a lock down defender too.

16) [player_tooltip player_id='1591319' first='Gabriel' last='D'Allesandro'] | 6'3” SG | Miller School (#43 Overall)

D'Allesandro was set for a big junior season after transferring to Miller School and reclassifying to the 2026 class, however he missed the season with a hip injury. Even with that, he's showed over the years that he is a very good shooter who has good range and a quick release, he's strong and physical on the defensive end, he's a capable secondary ball handler and he makes plays for others as well.
