-His final game showed the development over the past 4 seasons as a dynamic athlete that has improved his handle, jumper, and scoring package around the rim. Smith knocked down 3s off the catch and off the bounce over bigs on an island, hit the brakes to pivot into a short turnaround jumper, and used his scoring gravity to kick out to shooters to force rotations. His ability to operate out of the midpost and low block really stood out as he split defenders on several occasions before finishing with floaters off of both one or two feet in the paint. Smith battled until the end as a 2-way force that willed his team to wins over his 4-year career, excited to see how he is utilized at the next level for the Razorbacks.

The end of a legendary high school career from Smith Jr, one of the most competitive kids I’ve ever watched play and the definition of a winner. Smith left it all on the court, keeping an overmatched Paul VI team competitive for the entire game against a taller, deeper and more talented CIA Bella Vista squad. I’ve seen significant growth from Smith Jr as an isolation scorer this season, being able to turn the corner from the top of the key and knock down tough baseline shots as well. I also was encouraged by his high 3-point attempt rate in this one, firing 11 at the rim on Thursday night. The offensive growth Smith Jr has shown on the ball will have him appear on way too early top 5 NBA draft mocks for the 2027 class.

Jordan was the best guard prospect i seen all week. He is an explosive down hill guard with elite athleticism and natural scoring ability. He has a elite handle and doesn’t need to over dribble to get to his spots. Jordan can finish with power or finesse around the rim and is efficient from the inside despite his size. He has a certain intensity to him on defense and is capable of shutting down other guards with his speed and strength. He has a smooth looking jumper and doesn’t force shots from the outside. He is a underrated passer and has great vision in the open court. Jordan seems to be the next great guard under legendary coach john Calipari.

Jordan Smith Jordan Smith 6'1" | SG Robinson | 2028 State VA Jr had a dominant performance in PVIs’ semifinal victory against Blue Ridge. There isn’t much that hasn’t been said about Smitty as the 5-star Arkansas commit continues to put the country on notice. Smith scored at least 30 points in this game, outscoring the opposing team by himself for stretches. Smith scores in a plethora of ways both on and off the ball. On ball, Smith is a guaranteed paint touch and a battering rim going downhill, going both through and over defenders of all sizes. When cut off from the rim, Smitty has a pull up game reminiscent of Kawhi Leonard. The 6 foot 3 guard has a 6 foot 9 wingspan and a 40 inch vertical that allows him to get his shot off at any time. Smitty loves the one-dribble pull-up in the midrange as well as the bump the middy. Overall Smith excels at using his body to create space for his shots. When you add this to his insane ability deceleration defenders are entirely at his mercy as he torches them from all three levels. One play that really stood out was how to end the first quarter PVI had what seemed to be like a broken play due to stellar defense from Blue Ridge. Defensively, Smitty is a ball hawk who wreaks havoc in passing lanes and gives ball handlers a really hard time.

The recent Arkansas commit, Smith continues to add to an already decorated resume, capturing another WCAC title on Monday and further strengthening his case as one of the top players in high school basketball. An efficient three-level scorer, Smith has the ability to impact the game from beyond the arc, in the midrange, and at the rim. His perimeter shot making continues to improve, and he plays with a controlled aggressiveness that allows him to score within the flow of the offense. What truly separates him, however, is his relentless motor and two-way presence. Smith competes with outstanding intensity on the defensive end, using his athleticism, anticipation, and toughness to disrupt opponents and guard multiple positions. His blend of skill, competitiveness, and championship pedigree makes him one of the most complete prospects in the country.

The Arkansas Commitment is a versatile guard who has the size, strength and length to play either backcourt position. Only 6-3 but has a strong frame and a near 6-9 wingspan. He has a feel for the game that allows him to contribute in a variety of ways. But showed flashes of basic playmaking operating out of pick-and-roll, including the ability to manipulate a ball screen and get to his spots on the floor. The Bishop McNamara game was a heat check game as Jordan finish the game with 38 points on 15-24 from the field and 5-10 from the 3pt line. Also grabbed 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block.

Another viewing and another reminder as to why Smith is the best high school basketball player in the land. Nobody lifts up the team around him like the 6-foot-2 lead guard and that was yet again the case last night as he dished out five assists in the first 16 minutes of play. He did his routine air assaults on the rim with one coming as the trailer in transition in the first half where he punched it with two hands and then in the second half off a face-up from the left elbow where he jabbed his defender middle before taking a dribble and rising up with one hand to power it home. He converted on a couple of pull-ups from 12-to-15 and put defenders in the rough spot on drives to earn a couple of early visits to the free-throw line. His vocal leadership that can go unnoticed by the common viewer is elite and despite his ability to go for 25-30 points, he drives with intent of playing within the system and creating for others. The ultimate winner scored 19 points in PVI’s 21-point win over Oak Hill.
