Robinson continued his strong summer at Nike’s Peach Jam where he led the way for Boo Williams with 18 points per game. The PVI point guard can score at all three levels and is capable of being a scorer or distributor. Expect him to make a major impact in the WCAC next season and be one of the nation’s top lead guards in the rising junior class.

Matched up against Mize and a very talented NW Rotary team, Robinson proved himself as one of the elite Class of 2028 playmakers in the country while leading Boo Williams to a 62-61 victory. The 6’2″ guard out of Virginia finished with 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists in the win. His ability to breakdown a defense single handily off of the dribble was incredibly impressive.

It was another weekend for Robinson to further confirm his fit with PVI and he did so with shining colors. The Panthers stomped their three opponents in S2 play by an average of 16.3PPG and while there’s established depth and role awareness throughout the rotation, Robinson will clearly be depended on heavily this season as the lead guard. The way in which he operates with pace, gets to his spots with balance and sees the floor well both as a scorer/distributor is not only the reason he’s fetching HM offers, but also will be why a dominant PVI program won’t skip a beat in 2026-27. Even when he isn’t scoring or dishing assists at a high rate, you still feel his impact on the game, but the first part of that statement is a rarity. The Landstown transfer averaged 17.7PPG and 3.7RPG in their 3-0 showing, headlined by his strong ending performance against Georgetown Prep where he had 26PTS, 6REBS and 4STLS.

Robinson impressed with his new team this month. Robinson is a highly skilled PG who is very good with the ball. He can get downhill and finish in the paint but is also a reliable shot maker. Not just a scorer, Robinson is also a playmaker for teammates.

The newest face to the PVI roster who is set to have a tremendous impact is Robinson. It’s far from fair to expect any player to come in and replace what Smith brought so that’s won’t be the case here, but Robinson put on a clinic in showing how he can continue to fuel the winning juggernaut that head coach Glenn Farello has constructed year over year. PVI went 3-1 on the weekend and Robinson proved his worth as a high-IQ floor general that brings great balance as a scorer and playmaker. He averaged 16.3PPG, 5.8APG and 2.3RPG posting impressive 50/58/86 splits, which warranted offers from Coastal Carolina and Oklahoma State to join the collection he’s already established.

Majority of eyes are always drawn to PVI because of the powerhouse head coach Glenn Farello has built. They return key pieces of last year’s dominant title team, but the hole the size of the grand canyon left behind by Jordan Smith Jordan Smith 6'1" | SG Robinson | 2028 State VA Jr. (Arkansas) leaves questions of who will step in and become the guy. Robinson enters the picture from Landstown as the new face for the Panthers and if you’ve followed the EYBL scene this spring, the 6-foot-2 guards has shown nice signs with Boo Williams 16s. Replacing what Smith Jr. left behind is impossible and unfair. It’ll absolutely be a ‘by committee’ job in attempts of keeping PVI atop of the WCAC, but that’s not to sugarcoat the expectations that Robinson will walk into. For many, this weekend will be the first time seeing him live with his new team.

Robinson is the backcourt leader for this group and is carrying momentum from a strong high school season. The sophomore brings an impressive blend of skill, strength, toughness, and basketball IQ to the position. He can create for others, score when needed, and plays with a physical edge. His feel for the game and ability to control tempo make him a steady and reliable presence at the point.

Damien Robinson Damien Robinson 6'2" | PG St. Paul VI Catholic | 2028 State #97 Nation VA was held in check in the final, but he showed why he is one of the best guards in the state this postseason. A truly elite 3 level scorer and one of the better shot makers I have seen this year. He already has high major offers and will enter next season leading a Landstown team that will be one of the favorites to win states.

The highly touted sophomore was outstanding in the victory, showcasing the full range of his offensive skill set. Robinson scored at all three levels, using his quickness and ball skills to create separation and generate quality scoring opportunities. He showed the ability to finish at the rim through traffic while also knocking down perimeter jump shots. Robinson can create his own offense and also impacts the game defensively with his activity and athleticism.
