Juergens helped guide Boo Williams 16u EYBL to a 2-1 record in session one with his overall game on full display for the winning group. He averaged 10.0 Points, 4.3 Rebounds, 0.7 Assists, 0.7 Steals, and 1.0 Blocks per game on 42/25/67 shooting splits. Juergens was remarkably efficient inside the arc shooting 75% from two on the weekend as well. He’s a versatile wing with the ability to make outside shots, finish above the rim in transition or when attacking a closeout, and just be a general connector at both ends of the floor. Boo Williams always finds a way to get a couple of gems from North Carolina and it makes sense that Juergens is fitting in well with this group.

The North Carolina native is a sharpshooting wing with high level positional size and a versatile offensive game. Juergens can attack the rim off the dribble and has the athleticism to finish above it. With a strong feel for the game and scoring ability at multiple levels, he’s a high upside 2028 prospect that college coaches should be tracking closely.

Juergens is playing with Boo Williams EYBL 16u this spring/summer and will provide a lot of those same positive traits at Greensboro Day. Juergens ability to make catch and shoot threes along with his size and fluidity on the wing make him a prospect that will surely track more and more attention as coaches see him perform. He played a key role at Greensboro Day who finished ranked in multiple national polls at seasons end as they secured yet another NCISAA State Championship. With the perimeter skillset Juergens provides along with his size and ability to compete on the interior, he’ll be able to fit in multiple spots in different lineups that this Boo Williams team puts out there. He doesn’t need a high volume of shots to produce but is also capable of leading the charge for stretches to help swing games with his shot making and versatility. He started to get some recruiting traction this season and I fully expect that trajectory to continue through the spring and summer if he can continue to maintain/elevate with his new team on the EYBL.

Juergens delivered 17 points in the Bengals’ victory over Caldwell Academy, providing a lethal outside-inside combination alongside Gunter. He was a consistent threat from the perimeter in the second half, sinking multiple threes that stretched the defense. Juergens’ versatility was on display as he used his length to finish above the rim on fast breaks and showed a soft touch from beyond the arc. As a Class of 2028 prospect, he’s quickly making a name for himself as a matchup nightmare, capable of scoring over smaller guards or blowing by bigger forwards. Juergens also crashes the boards and rotates well on defense, demonstrating a burgeoning all-around game. His combination of size, skill, and athleticism has college coaches already intrigued.

Juergens will be a considerable rise in the rankings when we update really soon because his ability to play amongst other high level players and consistently make winning plays is super valuable to this Greensboro Day team. The Bengals are 28-2 on the season with an incredibly balanced attack. Juergens is a huge part of that as he’s consistently in double figure scoring and impacting winning with his effort on the glass or as a connecting piece on the offensive end. There’s a certain baseline understanding of the game that you have to possess to be in the rotation for Freddy Johnson and Juergens possesses all of the necessary tools. He’s a great shooter from deep off the catch, can attack a closeout and really rise above the rim, all while staying with himself and playing an efficient brand of hoops. Juergens will be a hot commodity and is a true high level piece at the next level.

Juergens played varsity last year, earning valuable experience. An injury in the middle of the season slowed him down some, but he is expected to make a big jump this year. He is long and explosive and loves to play above the rim.

Another intriguing tweener prospect who’s shown progress this grassroots cycle and this summer with Greensboro Day School as an aggressor who can get to the rim; smooth shooting touch to go along with his 6-foot-8 length; will be interesting to see how he’s utilized on the hardwood this season
