Another young prospect that college coaches should be tracking if they are not already, he has potential to be very special over the next few years. He has a nice natural feel for the game, already understands proper spacing and will only continue to progress as he is given more time and opportunity.

It’s hard not to start with this one as the 6’10” freshman big man has been amongst the nations elite through the first half of the grassroots basketball season. Duggins was utterly dominant for Team CP3 EYBL 15u in what was a 4-0 weekend for that group. On the session in Memphis, Duggins averaged 23.3 Points, 10.5 Rebounds, 1.3 Assists, 0.8 Steals, and 2.8 Blocks per game on 74/46/81 shooting splits. Duggins possesses true three level touch, a cerebral approach to the game, and the athletic ability/size to make all of the plays necessary to get the job done as a feature big. After this weekend, Duggins made his debut in the ESPN 25 coming in at 12th nationally along with getting an offer from NC State. There aren’t many prospects in the country that have the set of tools Duggins brings to the table and he should continue to rise in the rankings nationally and is a lock to debut in the top spot here in NC when those rankings drop next week.

Duggins enters as the highest ranked player from the state at No. 12; he’s a hard-nosed big man who plays strong in the painted area; rebounds in bunches and has all the mobility to defend multiple spots on the floor; as he continues to expand his game, look for his recruiting stock to grow as well; suiting up with Team CP3 this summer

Duggins is a supremely gifted forward prospect for Team CP3 15u EYBL and his full game was on display in Atlanta as he helped lead his team to a 4-0 record on the weekend. Through the four games, Duggins averaged 17.5 Points, 9.5 Rebounds, 1.8 Assists, 1.3 Steals, and 1.5 Blocks on 59/42/71 shooting splits. Special numbers for a special player that seems to generate a high quality look for himself or a teammate every time he touches the basketball. Duggins is building real pedigree fast while showing continued growth in his overall game as he’s a high level athlete with incredible feel for the game as a front-court piece. He’s got legit outside touch and is starting to add on the necessary strength to deal with more physical post players. Duggins is a special prospect and this past weekend was symbolic of that.

Duggins is one you think about long-term. Big frame, good hands, and already shows some touch. He rebounds it, finishes around the rim, and doesn’t look out of place at all for his age. Plenty of upside, and will be interesting to see how he develops.

Duggins is continuing to show how special of a prospect he can be with his size, court awareness, skill, and well rounded athleticism. Duggins is the kind of big man that should touch the basketball every single possession with the quality of shot generated when he gets that touch being so much higher than if he didn’t. His ability to assess the floor off of his touches in multiple spots is probably my favorite thing about his game. Adding in that he’s got special outside touch for his age/size, the ability to play above the rim with consistency, along with the touch on his jump hooks with either hand around the basket. This CP3 15u group has a lot of talent with Duggins standing out amongst them.

Duggins will likely debut as the top player in 2029 in NC and it’s only a matter of time before his recruitment takes national stage even though he’s only a freshman. Duggins possesses special shooting touch at 6’10” with great two way awareness on the floor. Duggins possesses so much next level appeal at an early stage that it’s obvious there is real intent with the way he’s been developed up to this point. His ability to flourish amongst other talented players while doing it in a complex + methodical system at such a young age. Greensboro Day is primed and ready for another NCISAA 3A title run, and as they games get more important, expect Duggins role to be elevated to an even greater height.
