Expert Analysis
Elan Muniz | Prep Hoops Scout
Smith continues to look advanced for his age. He handled pressure comfortably, created separation off the bounce, and showed confidence running a team. His creativity with the ball and willingness to attack gaps stood out repeatedly. For a younger guard, he already plays with strong pace and offensive feel.

Smith put together one of the most productive freshman seasons in the state. The First Team All-Prep selection averaged nearly 16 points and 3 steals per game for the Saints, making an immediate impact on both ends of the floor. A high-level athlete with a very high basketball IQ, Smith is a true three-level scorer who can hurt defenses from the perimeter, in the midrange, and at the rim. His combination of skill, athleticism, and defensive activity makes him a player that Division I coaches will be tracking closely over the next three years.

-Loved the pace that Smith played with in a productive weekend for Team Loaded as he shielded the ball from the defender well to limit turnovers. Scored on a beautiful stop n pop jumper from the elbow and scored again off a fader after hitting his defender with a really smooth spin move. His touch on floaters in the key and extension lays high off the glass denote the skill level.
