Khan “played up” with Virginia Elite this season and showcased an intriguing combination of size, athleticism and skill. The PVI sophomore is a versatile, mobile big man with inside/out scoring ability who handles and passes the ball well for his size. He can attack closeouts with straight line drives, finish above the rim and knock down open perimeter jumpers. Khan’s versatility and developing skill set give him plenty of upside as a prospect.

Playing two years up on the 17U level, Khan didn’t make a huge impact statistically but showed promising glimpses of long-term potential. Blessed with standout size and fluidity, he was effective as a cleanup man around the basket with quick feet, solid hands, and swift touch in traffic. He brought good energy to both ends of the floor while showing no signs of the speed of the game being too much for him despite the older competition. Even at a powerhouse program like PVI, it shouldn’t be too long before Khan has a chance to make a splash at the varsity level and emerge onto college radars at the same time.
