He consistently plays with a high motor, competes on the defensive end, and always seems to be under control and playing at his own pace.

Laws is a prospect that is playing up and age level and one that coaches speak highly of in the long term. He has good size at 6-foot-1 and I liked that the speed of the game didn’t seem to overwhelm him at all. On this VA Elite 16s team, Laws made his mark playing off the ball and being shot-ready, particularly from the corners where he buried his share of triples throughout their three-game run. He’ll be a prospect to keep tabs on when you consider the history of this organization and their developmental track with young prospects who play up and are able to impact.
