Ridgeway played a valuable role for Team Melo on Nike’s EYBL circuit, bringing athleticism, versatility, and energy to the wing position. A slashing wing with good size and above-average athleticism, he is at his best attacking the basket, where his improved strength allows him to finish through contact and make plays in the paint. His perimeter shooting has shown noticeable progress and continues to trend in the right direction, though it remains an area for further development. Ridgeway impacts the game in a variety of ways beyond scoring, using his length and athleticism to rebound effectively from the wing and contribute on the defensive end. He has the versatility to guard multiple positions and consistently competes with a high level of effort.

Between his size, skill, and general two-way instincts, he does a lot of things well on the court. Ridgeway is a versatile piece who can create with the ball in his hands, score from all levels, and switch across multiple positions defensively. He’s a capable rebounder with the ability to crash the glass and immediately push the break in transition. Ridgeway makes solid decisions with the ball in his hands but is also comfortable as an off-ball threat.

Ridgeway is a player that I’ve really grown to like since I watched him this season at Riverside. He is clearly a prospect I’m excited to watch develop over the next couple of years. Ridgeway possesses the size, hustle, motor, athleticism, and versatility. Ridgeway offers a lot of intriguing factors in his game that, if he continues to develop and add more, he will be a name college programs will want to target in the coming years.
