Eric Wallace | Prep Hoops Scout
One of the better passing wings in the 2027 class, Ross is a lanky, athletic prospect with a strong feel for the game. He impacts the game as both a facilitator and scorer, and has shown clear improvement as a perimeter shot maker this season. With his combination of size, versatility, and pedigree, Ross is trending toward becoming a highly recruited prospect, following in the footsteps of his older brothers.

Young Ross continues to emerge as one of the most entertaining and impactful young players on the floor. The 6’7 prospect plays with a relentless motor, using his wiry frame, athleticism, and length to overwhelm opponents. He consistently affects the game through hustle, toughness, and activity, making his presence felt on both ends. Ross’ rugged, high-energy approach allows him to be compete in stretches and elevate his team whenever he’s on the court.

-Ross transfers into the Highland School and figures to be a big piece for them moving forward. Ross has great positional size, can put it on the floor, and can fill it up in bunches. He can shoot it with range but takes the right shot, turning down good shots to find great ones and isn’t hesitant to make the one-more pass. With his length and fluid movement skills, he also possesses some good upside on the defensive end of the floor as a capable 3+D wing defender. With a lot of moving parts coming into a Highland group that graduated a ton of talent, he should be primed for a big junior season.

-Ross impressed as a wing that fills up the stat sheet and has pretty advanced feel for a 2027 prospect. A fluid athlete that can use his stride steps to get past smaller defenders, he showed nice touch with either hand around the basket on hooks/extension layups in traffic. Although the handle needs to tighten to navigate through tighter spaces, it was good enough to get him into several pull-up threes and 18-footers off the dribble pickup. Also came away impressed with the scoring touch on some one-handed putbacks around the rim and faders from the midpost after snagging an offensive rebound. Really interesting 3+D prospect to track in the 2027 Virginia class
