An unsigned 2026 prospect, Lodi is a long, versatile wing with intriguing physical tools and developmental upside. With good size and length on the perimeter, he projects well from a positional standpoint and continues to expand his overall skill set. His offensive game is trending upward, particularly on the perimeter, where he looks increasingly comfortable and confident shooting the ball.
A better-than-average athlete, he runs the floor well, finishes in space, and has the tools to attack closeouts effectively. Defensively, he is a clear asset, using his length, mobility, and instincts to guard multiple positions, contest shots, and disrupt passing lanes. As his perimeter skill continues to develop, he has the potential to emerge as a well-rounded two-way wing prospect in the 2026 class.

While Clinton Grace adjusted their defense to do what they could to contain guys like Asare and Abraham, it was Kodi that delivered the gut-punching jumpers to halt any momentum that swung towards the Eagles’ favor. He did a nice job of playing in the middle of the Clinton Grace half court trapping scheme where on a couple of occasions, he caught it at the high post and calmly turned around a buried mid-range jumpers. To close the first half, Kodi executed a perfect pick-and-pop with Asare where he converted a three from the right wing as the buzzer sounded to build a 13-point cushion heading into the locker room. The unsigned senior scored his 14 points on just four shots from the field while going a perfect 6/6 from the charity stripe.

-When Kodi plays with confidence he is one of the better shooting/scoring wings in the state. Kodi had a very balanced game against a good StJ team as he showed that he can hit C+S looks from the wings, score on faders from the paint or short corner, and fly in for some offensive rebounds here and there. Want to see him be more assertive as a driver in the half court because he usually makes good decisions with the ball in his hands.

It was good seeing Kodi take advantage of the stage yesterday and he did so by priding himself in all of the small things that impact winning. Highland’s roster overhaul from last season is significant, but what head coach Logan Miller has this season is a underclass-heavy rotation ready to soak up any coaching thrown their way. For Kodi as one of the few seniors, he’ll lead by example and his effort on the offensive glass, mucking things up defensively with his length and later in the day, knocking down his share of catch-and-shoot three’s should help colleges get a feel for how he translates at the next level.

Got a chance to catch Ripp with his new squad as Highland took part in the DMV Live sessions. He had a pretty effective jumpshot going for him during the weekends and hit consistently. Shoots well off movement and knows how to find spaces where he can spot up and rise. Ripp was present defensively, sending few shots back and deterring jumpers and layup attempts. Ran the floor well on the break and created opportunities for himself to finish breaks. Ripp rebounded the ball well each game, totaling six games with 8+ rebounds. Nice addition that will continue to get better for Highland.

-Really loved the strides that I saw Kodi take during the season, filling out his game from a shooter to an all-around offensive threat that should begin landing offers from the college interest that he already has after a productive season with Ireton. Kodi’s athleticism went up a level this season and it showed up most in his breakaway speed in transition and his leaping ability to finish alley oops or 2-handed dunks in transition. His feel as a mover off the ball continues to improve, collecting putback dunks from the weakside and moving to space well to create open looks from beyond the arc. One of my favorite players to watch in the area.

is a guy that gets better every year. It is something that college coaches should keep tabs on because it is a great indicator of work ethic and character. Ripp is the kind of wing/forward hybrid that fits nicely in what teams do today. Ripp can knockdown spot up threes and does a good job finishing at the rim. Ripp has great length and moves well, so he can guard multiple positions really well. Ripp was a second-team all-conference selection in the WCAC.
