2027 Perimeter Prospects Who Are Trending Up

With the summer live evaluation periods complete, the recruiting focus now moves to Virginia's 2027 class. Here is a look at a group of rising seniors who are on the radar of college coaching staffs around the country.    Tomlin was the second leading scorer for Team Loaded during the month of July. The rising senior is an athletic, attacking, scoring wing. He is a high level athlete who can create his own offense off the dribble and plays with toughness. Expect college coaches to be in pursuit of Tomlin this fall.     Another reliable part of Team Loaded's 17u team, Claiborne is a high academic college prospect who is a smart, tough, reliable lead guard. He can get downhill and finish in the paint and has improved as a perimeter shot maker. He is a willing on-ball defender and will make a college coaching staff very pleased when he makes his college decision.     The rising senior is an athletic wing with length who is at his best attacking the rim and in the midrange. Ross is a good passer, an active defender and a prospect with plenty of upside.     Young is a wing with size and length that has some versatility. He is a better than average shot maker from beyond the arc and is capable of playing both forward positions. A high academic prospect, the rising senior is an above average athlete who moves well without the ball and is a capable rebounder.     Aguolu is a combo forward with size and versatility. He is an above average athlete who is at his best attacking the rim and operating inside the arc. The rising senior has a perimeter skill set that continues to improve. He plays with a high motor and can guard multiple positions, proving versatility on both sides of the ball.
