Fisk had his moments of dynamic playmaking as well as dependable shot making that helped contribute to his breakout season at St. Frances this past season. The 6-foot-2 combo guard has built in chemistry with Terence Jones on this Melo squad, so hunting open corners to plant his feet in as Jones maneuvers his way to the paint is good for consistent skip passes where he can tee off open catch-and-shoots. Where his own playmaking acumen comes to light is attacking closeouts or in the open floor where he can draw attention and fling no-look heaters to bigs around the rim or cutters on the weakside.
One aspect of his game that wasn’t as prominent as it was during the high school season was his ability to get to the free throw line. There were a variety of reasons for this, but making it a staple of his attack moving forward will only add to the threat that he brings to opposing defenses in EYBL play.

-Fisk started the season outside of our top 50 and broke into our top 10 this week with some prolific scoring performances in big games for the Panthers this season. The dynamic scoring guard led his team to a BCL Championship and a title game appearance in MIAA play with consistent two-way performances as one of the lead guards for his team. Fisk’s speed, vertical leaping ability, and tenacity in the open court made him a menace for a SFA group that punched a lot of its opponents in the mouth in their run through BCL/MIAA competition. Fisk became a more consistent shooter from both the midrange and beyond the arc, made better decisions with the basketball as a creator in side ball screens and middle PnR, and ratcheted up the defensive ball pressure to turn opponents over. The toughness shown to sprint back in transition to come up with deflections, steals, blocks, and forced misses even when faced with 3 on 1 breaks made him a super valuable piece for Coach Myles throughout the course of the season.

Fisk was coming off his historic 42-point in the semifinal game and was a key aspect of Mt. Carmel’s defensive game plan to keep out of the paint. As he typically does though, Fisk forced mismatches in ball screens or by using his quick first step to blow by his defender and force rotations. He struggled to find his groove, but got into rhythm when it mattered most as he scored 12 of his team-high 16 in the third quarter and overtime, where he accounted for five of the teams eight points in the extra four minutes of play. He shined in crunch time with his burst out of his hesitations and on multiple occasions, converted acrobatic lay-ups even through contact.

Fisk had a career night backed by his 42 points, which ties for most point scored from a BCL player in a postseason setting dating all the way back to 1976, per BCL Director of Communication Chris Pika. Simply put, there wasn’t a player on Mount St. Joseph that could keep Fisk in front of him, which set an early tone for attacking the rim and drawing contact as 11 of his 20 first half points came from the free-throw line. In the second half, he remained in his flow state, but in the third quarter was getting downhill in transition for scores when he wasn’t breaking down his defender in isolations. The threat of his three-level scoring ability put his defender at his mercy and when he’s able to attack gaps and convert at the charity stripe in the efficient manner that he did last night (17/19), it leads to scoring implosions like we saw in the most pivotal contests. Fisk also grabbed seven boards and accounted for four assists in the win.

Fisk received a deserved All-BCL First Team nod as well as the league’s Most Improved Player of the Year award on Monday and responded with a 16-point outing to follow McCoy’s 17 in their opening round win. The smooth operating combo guard can showcase his athleticism in the open floor, possesses savvy anticipation off the ball defensively and continues to round out his overall offensive skillset as time progresses. He’ll be key in what should be another classic head-to-head matchup against rival Mount St. Joe on Thursday.

Fisk’s stock continues to rise and his 27-point outing that combined with Jones for 54 of the team’s 84 only adds to the argument. Once MSJ made the adjustment to cool down Jones after his blazing start, Fisk took his turn to showcase his offensive arsenal. There’s a smoothness to Fisk’s game off the bounce that makes everything he does look extremely polished. The ground he can cover off his hesitation-and-go keeps his defender at his mercy as a driver or getting right into his pull-up from any level on the floor. Fisk mixed it up well in the fashion of long-range jumpers or straight-line drives following one of his hesitations or crossovers and exhibited great burst to the rim before rotating defenders could alter his layup. Defensively he was very active in passing lanes where he generated multiple deflections for runouts and quick scores. The pressure that he applies to the defense with the ball in his hands is invaluable, but if there’s one aspect of Fisk’s game that has struggled over the last stretch it’s his conversion rate at the free-throw line. These prolific scoring outings could’ve resulted in an even bigger number had he converted at even an 80 percent success rate.

Fisk makes his debut in the 2027 rankings after publicly announcing his intention on reclassing from 2026. The 17-year-old combo guard is off to a hot start this season being one of the focal points of the surging St. Frances offense. The Panthers are 18-4 overall with a couple of top-15 wins on their resume. What makes this even more impressive is that coming into the season, Nick Myles’ roster was no where near as talented as they’ve been in the past, but due to the offensive dynamism from guys such as Fisk and

, they sit in the top spot of the BCL rankings as we enter mid-January. Fisk’s pace, fluidity off the bounce and creativity as a score/playmaker are all aspects that have blossomed in his development over the last six months. With the reclass announcement, there will be a host of A10 schools watching him closely, but Villanova may have started what could become P5 attention as the Wildcats offered Fisk shortly after his standout performance at Jordan Brand Classic. He debuts at No. 11 and it a strong candidate to move up on this list over time.
