Bahr does a great job hunting shots off the ball, and when his feet are set, he’s a strong threat to connect from deep. He consistently puts himself in good position to rebound and can touch the paint when attacking off the dribble. Bahr is also effective running the floor in transition, adding value in both the half-court and open floor.

A Second Team All-WCAC selection, Bahr has proven to be a valuable two-way contributor and a strong high-academic prospect still on the board. The unsigned senior is a solid shooting wing with good positional size and a high basketball IQ, allowing him to impact the game beyond just scoring. He is a slightly better-than-average athlete who plays with an edge, bringing competitiveness and toughness on both ends of the floor. Comfortable operating without the ball, Bahr moves well within the offense, makes timely reads, and shows the ability to make the extra pass. His combination of size, feel, shooting ability, and academic profile makes him an intriguing option for college programs seeking a skilled, team-oriented wing.

Jake’s ability to shine as a leader in critical moments. Consistently mixing it up as a scorer from all levels, creating for others, and making his presence felt on the glass. Highlighting a quality combination of IQ, size, and skill. Jake’s ability to fill up the stat sheet was evident in the Bethel Academy, scoring 18 points on 6-10 FG, 2-4 from the 3FG, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Which allowed him to be a named the Player of the Game.

This high academic unsigned senior is having a breakout senior season. Bahr is a solid shooting wing the good size and a high basketball IQ. He is a slightly better than average athlete, plays with a bit of an edge and is a good passer while playing off the ball. College coaches in search of skill and decision making should investigate Bahr during the next 3 months.

Jake put on another couple of efficient and impressive performances at HoopGroup last weekend. Always gets himself into scoring position and seeks the most efficient means of scoring. Knocks down open jumpshots with regularity, really a big threat beyond the arc. Something I always like to see from Jake is the way he keeps himself involved in the game and gets into positions to score baskets. Rebounds with the bigs and finishes layups consistently inside, possibly the most underrated part of his game.

Jake was a major key in the Ireton win over Glenelg Country. He made baskets under pressure and through contact on route to a 17 point game. I was impressed with the way he scored at the basket despite being a guard. He played well off-the-ball and worked himself into scoring positions the whole game. Jake can shoot the ball well with space, but really made a difference in the paint which was the difference in Ireton’s tough win.

-Another player with an old school, throw back type game. Bahr is pretty effective in post touches on the low block, scoring with either hand over smaller guards with a polished set of footwork finishing moves around the rim. The rising senior also rebounds the ball very well for his size and position, earning himself easy putback opportunities and trips to the FT line with his energy. Bahr can also score it at a high clip from the perimeter, knocking down open looks and using a smooth pump fake to get his defender off balance.
