The MVP of this game was pretty easily William Robinson William Robinson 6'5" | SF Westfield | 2026 VA . Will used his size effectively throughout the game and proved why he is a matchup nightmare. He did a great job driving the ball and showed off that mix of skill and size. Will knocked down a three-pointer early, and he really showed off his full offensive arsenal. I think my favorite thing Will did was not on the offensive end, though. In a game that was low-scoring and physical, what Will did on the defensive side of the ball was paramount to Westfield winning. My favorite play he had on the day was when a Landstown player cut back door behind a defender, and on what looked like an easy layup, Will rotated over and met him at the rim. He followed that up with running the floor and converting an easy layup. Will had a game-high 23 points and 4 blocks.

Robinson recently surpassed the 1,000-point milestone for his career, a reflection of both his consistency and long-term impact. The 6’5 senior wing is averaging 11.6 points per game and brings a blend of size and skill to the perimeter. He has dependable shot-making ability from the outside and can also put the ball on the floor, drive with purpose, and finish in the paint.

Defensively, Robinson offers versatility with the length and mobility to guard multiple positions on the wing. His frame, developing offensive skill set, and two-way potential point to continued growth, giving him intriguing upside as he transitions to the next level.

Robinson is another member of Westfield’s senior class who is a college prospect. The 6’5 wing has shot making ability and can drive and score it in the paint. The senior has versatility at the defensive end and has plenty of upside.

He is a Wing/Forward hybrid who has a sweet stroke from three. He has nice touch around the rim and does a great job on the glass. William’s problem last year was some of the dumb fouls he picked up, but when he was on the court, he was very impactful. William was extremely efficient and finished the game with 22 points and 11 rebounds. 

One of the more anticipated games of the year in NOVA was the South Lakes and Westfield district title game. Westfield handed South Lakes their only district loss of the year last week, and they again knocked off South Lakes yesterday in the district final. William Robinson William Robinson 6'5" | SF Westfield | 2026 VA was the biggest X-factor for Westfield yesterday. Will struggled with foul trouble for the whole first half, and when he was out you could see the effect it had. Will’s energy on the glass was big, and South Lakes had no answer for him defensively. Will’s mix of size and skill was a matchup nightmare. He drove by the players guarding him and dominated the game when he was in. Will didn’t put up a huge scoring game, but he still had double figures and a huge impact. He also had 18 in Westfield’s semifinal win.

William Robinson William Robinson 6'5" | SF Westfield | 2026 VA had a nice day for Westfield in their win over James Madison. Star guard Jemon Price Jemon Price 6'2" | CG Westfield | 2026 State VA didn’t play in this game, so I was interested in seeing who stepped up for this talented Westfield team. It was a pretty balanced attack, but William stood out the most to me on both ends. Will is a fantastic jump shooter, and his size and perimeter ability provide a lot of versatility for Westfield. Will knocked down a few threes and used his size well. Will was disruptive on defense, getting his hands on a lot of shots. He finished this game with 18 points.

Will Robinson gets better every time I see him play. He is a good spot-up shooter, but he’s not relying on or forcing that shot anymore. When teams close out on him, he does a great job putting the ball on the floor and getting a floater or lay-in. At his size, Will is a matchup nightmare, and I can see him being a wing at the next level. Will is poised for a big Junior Season on what should be an outstanding Westfield squad.

Will Robinson did not have a great game shooting the ball for Westfield, but he was still very impactful. He had some nice drives, and his ability to put the ball on the floor at his size makes him very tough to stop. Will had some great defensive plays, and his presence was felt on that side of the floor. Open looks from deep will always be there for Will, and he is a good enough shooter to knock them down, even if they weren’t falling today.
