Tuesday night is THE night for hoops across the nation! Here are the top match-ups in Minnesota with a prediction to go with them.

3AAAA Wayata at 8AAAA St. Louis Park

[player_tooltip player_id='1560807' first='Isaac' last='Olmstead'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2446903' first='Dashon' last='Amos']. Isaac and Dashon are 5'8/5'9 guards. Olmstead is one of the best guards in the state while Amos is an up and comer who is off to a nice start this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2429912' first='Ryan' last='Mann'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2407573' first='Josh' last='Rickord']. A couple of steady older players that can make shots, defend solid and make good decisions with the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560867' first='Christian' last='Wiggins'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2423568' first='Rashaad' last='Kimber']. Kimber is the top guard scoring option for the O's, Wiggins might spend time here but when St. Louis Park goes big with third leading scorer [player_tooltip player_id='2362161' first='Matthew' last='Johnson'] on the floor (6'6 forward) you might see Wiggins on Marley.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560778' first='Nolen' last='Anderson'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1589407' first='Marley' last='Curtis']. Two twenty point per game scorers, two top ten prospects in the state, Nolen leads Wayzata, Marley will knock out threes as well. These are players that need to be defended at the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='1454976' first='Wyatt' last='McBeth'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1874916' first='Micah' last='Curtis']. Micah is a brute around the basket, McBeth a skilled and long forward. Both are about 6'7, Micah is much stronger and Micah is scoring 30 a game.

Prediction. This should be a game this time! No overlooking the O's! St. Louis Park has a good frontcourt where their top three scorers are, their guards do a lot of smart and hard work. They have a tough job with Wiggins and Olmstead tonight. [program_tooltip program_id='2075965' first='Trojans' last=''] by seven. There is your motivation coach!

6A Central Minnesota Christian at 2A Dawson-Boyd

Gunner Liebl vs [player_tooltip player_id='2104538' first='Drew' last='Duininck']. Drew scored 18 a game last year, Gunner is capable of scoring 18 a game. These are scoring guard options although CMC will need more from Drew than DB needs from Liebl in the box score.

[player_tooltip player_id='2132770' first='Carson' last='Stratmoen'] vs. [player_tooltip player_id='2120512' first='Micah' last='Asake']. A couple all league HM players that scored four or five baskets a game last season and they can do that again, although if one gets hot they could be the difference.

[player_tooltip player_id='1411178' first='Brayson' last='Boike'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2877054' first='Asher' last='Wieberdink']. Brayson is the 6'8 skilled players as a senior, Asher is something similar at 6'7 as a sophomore. Asher averaged 14 and 6 last year as a freshman and he's one of the hot names in the class people should get to know.

[player_tooltip player_id='1874834' first='Drew' last='Hjelmeland'] vs Logan Roelofs. Logan is the 6'2 battler. Nearly ten boards a game last year and he scored when needed. Drew is five or six inches taller and will score about 18 a game this year.

Prediction. CMC is on a roll, DB can't afford a loss here. I think DB has the experience and the home court edge, and likely the pressure too. They win by six.

9AAAA Lakeville North at 10AAAA Prior Lake

[player_tooltip player_id='2094704' first='Johanes' last='Piscikas'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1579916' first='Brayden' last='Thompson']. Johanes has been an outstanding story this year scoring at nearly 20 a game and leading North so far this season. Thompson is a bit shorter but he is scoring a dozen a game for the Lakers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1437598' first='Dane' last='Danielson'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1434127' first='Norbu' last='Jenpa']. Norbu is the best big school scorer that people won't list as top scorers but should. This 6'4 worker is averaging 23 plus a game. Danielson will be a great test for Norbu as Danielson has emerged this year with a nice start to the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2422065' first='Drew' last='Kolander'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2052332' first='Trey' last='Theis']. Kolander is scoring in double figures for North at 6'7. He will see sophomores [player_tooltip player_id='2052332' first='Trey' last='Theis'] and Kobby Sam-Brew.

Prediction. Prior Lake has pushed into the top ten, now can they stay there? North wants to hold that spot as the dominant team in the South Suburbab. A big game, I think North wins by a basket.

Chaska at 4AAAA Champlin Park

[player_tooltip player_id='2126118' first='Tyler' last='Forrest'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2524650' first='Kwatamah' last='Silikpoh']. This is an elite match-up of sophomore guards. I'm sure both believe they are better than one another - I know their AAU coaches think it's a fact - so tonight we get a chance to see it! Forrest is scoring nine a game for a 3-2 Hawks team, Kwat is scoring 18 a game for the undefeated Rebels.

Trey Lanzen vs [player_tooltip player_id='1288748' first='Tyler' last='Wagner']. Lanzen leads Chaska at 20 a contest through five games leading his team, Wagner is scoring 30 a game through three games leading his team.

Prediction. Chaska is looking for the corner turn. They are a better team now. Is this the game they turn the corner? I feel like CP is a guy or two deeper, they win by six.

10A Ada Borup at 7A Red Lake County

[player_tooltip player_id='1482041' first='Austin' last='McCraven'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1490631' first='Owen' last='Chervestad']. The senior guards that score 20 a game, create for others at times, and rebound in solid numbers at like five a contest.

Prediction. I think Ada Borup has tested themselves more than any team in Class A so far (outside of teams like Goodhue and Rushford-Peterson who have played conference games already against bigger school teams). Red Lake County did just beat East Grand Forks but they have not been tested like Ada Borup so I take the road team by a basket.
