– McBeth had one of the strongest 2024-25 campaigns on uncommitted/unsigned 2025 forwards. The six-foot-six-inch Wayzata forward surged with strong play against so many strong opponents with his defense and rebounding. The left-handed shooter made key blocks versus Hopkins in the section finals and in the state championship game. McBeth has shown ability to shoot the ball from the perimeter and is a better athlete than he seems to let on.

Wyatt Mcbeth – The 2025 six-foot-six-inch senior forward comes off very underrated on the Trojans team with so much talent around. Mcbeth has skills in the post, good footwork, does all the little stuff off the ball, and plays solid defense. He’s showing more skill to stretch the floor and hit outside shots.

Perhaps a bit overlooked due to Wayzata’s loaded 2026 class, Wyatt simply goes out and produces, and on Tuesday night he showed why he made the initial Mr. Basketball watchlist. The 6’6 forward was cutting hard off the ball and battling for offensive rebounds, leading to plenty of high percentage looks inside. Everytime his team needed a boost, Wyatt seemed to deliver with a big play, and was getting his team/home crowd fired up with some vocal reactions. Really helped to limit any second chance opportunities for Hopkins with his rebounding, and was extremely efficient with his 17 points.
